Confessions of a Former Size 6 - food, fashion, travel, and other little fancies ‌
this is me Blogging has been an important part of my life and has seen me go through many a change, some small and others significant. From the very first post, the key to my writing has been not just to log whatever is happening but also to provide a glimpse of what inspires me as well as wanting to know if the feeling is shared. My innate sense of curiosity and an eagerness to experience life beyond Malta’s shores is to blame for this.
!
Travelling to different parts of Europe over the last 5 years - with an 8 month pitstop in Krakow - gave me an opportunity to savour different food traditions and cultures and attempt to learn new languages. At the same time, my journeys have also allowed me to see how people across the continent respond to new fashion trends and how they make them their own.
!
How do I do this? My trusty camera never leaves my side. It snaps images of imposing buildings and spontaneous expressions of art in the shape of street art. The lens captures many a new outfit, both mine and of those who cross my path, and records concerts and street performances. Another nod goes to my laptop and smartphone which allow me to communicate my thoughts via my blog, Facebook page and Instagram profiles at all times.
!
One other aspect of my online presence is interaction with other local and international bloggers and fashionistas. By engaging a number of themes, collaboration has served as a platform to feature new products such as the season’s in-demand collections and accessories as well as tech gadgets, with each post always focussing on practicality and use with importance being equally given to the aesthetic.
