This project was started autumn 2012 in Gaza together with Motaz al Habbash. It was continued with 87 children in Rio de Janeiro writing letters and letters from Gaza where thrown into the sea on the coast of Rio. First success is that a Brazilian girl found a message in a bottle from a guy from Gaza, they are now communicating.
Messages are about communication and in this project we are using the sea to send across messages around the world. It connects people across the shores.
The messages are both visual and literary, as not one part can be seen separate from the other. A project between art and literature.
