Marija Ivanković Jurišić is a textile designer and owner of Marija Handmade weaving atelier. She has been presented Cvet uspeha za zenu zmaja award, and the uniqueness of her work has been recognized and praised by European Entrepreneurship Network. Marija has made numerous international appearances with her brand at relevant exhibitions and fairs. “To weave our textile, we use natural fibers of wool, cotton, silk, hemp, and flax. We also manually extract pigments from herbs and use the pigments to dye yarns and create unique fashion items and household textile. In the heart of what we do is our commitment to weaving the clothes which beautifies and soothes your living space, the same as both your skin and body. We make sure that each thread is carefully chosen so we create a garment worth your touch. Weaving, knitting, sewing, and dying is what breathing and living are about for us. Decorative curtains
Uniquely designed and hand-woven decorative curtains breathe life into a home with a powerful and nostalgic story which they tell. Models of curtains vary from the traditional ones with a classical abat-jour used by our grandmothers to the uniquely styled ones, with larger abat-jours that provide better transparency and more light. The curtains are hand-woven on a horizontal loom, and they are made of delicately thin material whose width does not exceed 1.40 m; however, wider drapes can be made. The curtains match our uniquely designed decorative pillows, or tablecloths, that we also make by hand to turn your vision of a welcoming home into a reality.

Made by loving and caring hands of skillful weavers, our decorative pillows are perfectly suited for a home which is a unique reflection of its owners’ taste for the original. The pillows are made of hemp, flax, and wool, naturally dyed in turmeric and walnut husk, with a base made of cotton. Dimensions: 38 cm x 48 cm; 40 cm x 50 cm; 40 cm x 60 cm.
