Work Group: Aline Marques, DĂŠbora Machado, Frederica Dias and MarĂlia Farias Project developed during RxA Workshop (http://recifeamsterdam.blogspot.com.br/) between UFPE and ARCAM (Amsterdam, Netherlands)

TRAIN OF THOUGHT Creating na Intermodal Axis

N

N

1 Create an access to the area through the river basin

2 With de creation of a boat station, we need to connect it with the existing metro station.

4° There’s an important space to consider: Largo da Paz Square, where there is a huge circulation of people. It’s a commercial area and it works like a bus terminal.

N

3° It’s very important the access to the area through de metro station, across the metro line.

5° Connecting these 3 kinds of transport, we create an intermodal axis
