Paid Parental Leave Policy

MarineMax is committed to the health and well-being of our team members and their families. Parental leave under this policy is a paid leave associated with the birth of a team member’s own child or the placement of a child with the team member in connection with adoption or foster care.

The purpose of Paid Parental Leave is to enable the team member to care for and bond with a newborn or newly fostered/adopted child. This policy runs concurrently with Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), as applicable.

• FMLA eligible team members are entitled to up to eight (8) weeks of paid parental leave*

• Team members not eligible for FMLA are entitled to up to four (4) weeks of paid parental leave*

• Team members with Short Term Disability (STD) benefits will have their paid parental leave reduced by the amount of STD

• Team members eligible for State Funded Disability Programs will have their paid parental leave reduced by the State benefit amount

Request forms for Paid Parental Leave (PPL) can be accessed through Jostle. Please reach out to your Manager and/or Human Resources for any questions regarding this policy.
