INTRODUCING SOUTH SEA ISLAND

South Sea Island, Fiji’s most popular day cruise destination, is located just 30 minutes by highspeed catamaran transfer from Port Denarau. As one of the jewels of the Mamanuca Islands, this tiny island offers a day of exploring, relaxing and fun in the sun.

Enjoy this fabulous island which is surrounded by crystal clear waters and a coral reef that is home to thousands of colourful tropical fish. A great location for families, with highlights such as the saltwater swimming pool, guided snorkelling trips, kids club, daily Meke performance (except Sundays) and the Subsea Adventure semi-submersible coral viewer. With non-motorised water sports equipment included, this little slice of paradise makes for a great location for all groups, big and small.

Peppered with palm trees and surrounded by a coral lagoon, South Sea Island is truly one of Fiji’s gems. A day trip to South Sea Island is an easy 30 minute ferry ride from Port Denarau with South Sea Cruises. The close location to Denarau means that you can make the most of the day lazing on the beach, snorkelling, diving and enjoying the myriad of activities on offer.

It may be small in size, but there is plenty to keep you entertained. The hardest part is choosing what to do first! There is a salt water swimming pool and non-motorised water sports equipment available free of charge, including kayaking, paddle boarding and snorkelling.

• Exclusive Use Full Day Trip - have South Sea Island all to yourselves for a full day trip for up to 8 hours.

• Exclusive Use Half Day Trip - have South Sea Island all to yourselves for a half day trip for up to 4 hours.

SMALLER GROUP OPTIONS

• Shared Use Vessel & Island Full Day Trip - travel on one of our scheduled vessel transfers and day trips with your group of up to 99 people.

• Shared Use Vessel & Island Half Day Trip - travel on one of our scheduled vessel transfers and day trips with your group of up to 99 people.

• Groups of 100 or more people must take the island exclusively.

EAT & DRINK

• Regardless of the group or charter option you choose, a BBQ and salad buffet lunch is included along with complimentary soft drinks, bottled water, selected house wine, and local beer while on the island. Options are available for an upgrade to a seafood lunch, arrival cocktails as well as customised drink packages on request for full island charters.

ACTIVITIES & OTHER INCLUSIONS

• A South Sea Island Day Trip includes the use of kayaks, paddleboards, and snorkelling gear.

• Additional cost items include: drinks not in the beverage package, diving (intro and certified) and island massage/spa services.

CHILDREN

• Children of all ages are welcome at South Sea Island. Highlights for those travelling with kids include fabulous swimming (even at low tide), the saltwater swimming pool, the complimentary kids club, and the semisubmersible coral viewer, all of which are included in the charter or group fee.

GROUP HALF DAY RATES - SHARED USE ON SCHEDULED VESSEL TRANSFERS & ON SOUTH SEA ISLAND

Per person rate if travelling as a group on a scheduled South Sea Cruises services to/from South Sea Island as per South Sea Island Half Day Cruise itinerary.

ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCES & INCLUSIONS FOR BOTH GROUPS & CHARTERS - PRICES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST

Upgrade to a seafood lunch, arrival cocktail, customised drink packages such as champagne, special cocktails etc., private dinner function at South Sea Island, massage / spa, Intro or Certified diving, entertainment, motorised watersports & lifeguards.

BOOKING CONDITIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION

GENERAL

1. South Sea Island is operated by South Sea Cruises. All references to either are all references to South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd.

2. All rates quoted are in Fijian Dollars and include all applicable taxes including Value Added Tax & Environmental Levy (currently 15%)

3. All quotes are valid for 30 days and are subject to availability at time of booking / confirmation.

4. All quotes are from / to Port Denarau. Quotes to/from other destinations can be provided upon request.

5. Ground transfers are not included in the rates provided. Ground transfers can be quoted separately.

6. South Sea Island is a family friendly cruise option.

7. All services are subject to weather and sea conditions and are subject to alteration and/or cancellation as deemed necessary by South Sea Cruises.

8. All customers must have a valid travel insurance policy in place before travelling to South Sea Island.

9. Any customers with allergies to food or otherwise must notify the South Sea Cruises customer services and/or sales team at least 7 days prior to the event date.

10. South Sea Cruises reserves the right to alter prices, add a fuel surcharge, cancel departure or arrange alternative transport other than that advertised/ confirmed.

FORCE MAJEURE

1. South Sea Cruises shall not be liable or responsible for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations specified herein arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond its control, including, without limitation, acts of war or terrorism, strikes, riots, accidents, civil or military disturbances, natural catastrophes or acts of God, virus outbreaks, pandemics, power or any other mechanical failures, computer virus, governmental action, or communications disruption.

WATERSPORTS ACTIVITIES

1. Customers are required to follow all operating guidelines and safety procedures issued by the South Sea Cruises staff/crew whether they be issued verbally or in writing.

2. Customers will be held responsible for all costs of any damage caused to equipment and/or property owned by South Sea Cruises or third parties through misuse or carelessness.

PAYMENT TERMS

1. Deposit - Upon receiving a confirmed booking a non-refundable deposit amounting to 25% of the total booking is due for payment within 14 days of invoice.

2. Payment - Full payment is required 60 days prior to the travel or event date. Bookings made within 60 days of travel must be paid in full to South Seas Cruises Pte Ltd at the time of confirmation unless the booking agent has an approved credit account with South Seas Cruises Pte Ltd.

3. An amendment fee of FJ$250 will be charged for any amendments made to the booking within the 45

days prior to the travel or event date. However if the amendment is a change of date only with a similar value booking still being held then South Sea Cruises may, at its discretion, waive the amendment fees if South Sea Cruises has the ability to sell the vacated date.

4. Payments made by international debit/credit card are subject to a non-refundable 3% admin fee.

CANCELLATIONS

1. All cancellations must be in writing to South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd and the timing shall be based on the day of receipt of such notification by South Sea Cruises Pte Ltd. Cancellation terms are as follows;

Outside 60 days - Forfeit of deposit (unless transferring date).

31 to 60 days - Forfeit 60% of applicable booking.

0 to 30 days - Forfeit 100% of applicable booking.

RATE VALIDITY

1. Rates are valid for travel until 31 March 2024. Rates for travel beyond these dates are subject to a 5% increase until such time as South Sea Cruises issues confirmed rates for the following April - March period.
