Fund-a-need... 2 014 Waterfront Pops
2 013 Waterfront Pops Concert Alasdair Neale coaching his “Junior Conductors” before the concert!
Concert, Hooray for Hollywood The Marin Symphony’s annual Waterfront Pops Concert celebrates the opening of our 14/15 Season with great family-friendly activities. Whether it’s lounging on the grass with friends, having your kids take part in our “Junior Conductors” workshop in preparation for conducting the orchestra to open the second half of the concert, or stopping by the Marin Symphony Youth and Education booth where aspiring young musicians can “test-drive” an instrument — you and your family are sure to have fun. This season, our 80-piece orchestra will perform favorites from over a half-century of Hollywood favorites, and the evening concludes with a mesmerizing fireworks display, choreographed to the music.
Symphony Kids Program On behalf of our season sponsors we are able to support subsidized tickets for children and families in our community who would otherwise be unable to attend a Symphony event. We partner with youth advocacy organizations to offer 100+ tickets to each concert, each season. marinsymphony.org • 415.479.8100 • facebook.com/marinsymphony
