Titanal is placed directly over the edges in the forebody of the ski for predictable turn initiation. Underfoot the titanal spans the full width of the ski for maximum control and power transfer. Spectral Braid

Another implementation of K2’s Torsion Control Design, the patented Spectral Braid makes another appearance in the Reckoner collection. In this iteration, tighter fiber angles are found in the midbody of the ski, with more open angles in the tip and tail. The result is a ski with playful extremities coupled with a stable and powerful feel underfoot. INTUITION TONGUE

The Intuition Tongue Liner’s laminates use multi-layered construction in a traditional tongue liner, designed to provide targeted comfort and performance in a familiar way.

The boot’s flex is rated on a simple scale of 4-12 (12=stiffest). Change a boot’s flex by simply switching the tongue. (Competitor’s boots require permanent cutting.)

INFINITE PIVOT

Unlike traditional designs, the rear cuff never bottoms out. It pivots infinitely forward with your calf for less shell distortion, no shin pain and more control.

Keep heels where they belong. Placing the middle buckle at an optimal 45 degree angle creates a solid lock for the heel to stay put when pressuring the tips and tails of the skis.

J-BAR

An additional j-shaped piece of foam is inserted internally on both sides of the ankle area to dramatically increase ankle hold down, to keep your feet perfectly in place for precise control.

POWER WEDGE

Dial in you forward lean angle with this removable velcro spoiler.

A thinner foam is used in the front of the liner to increase space without sacrificing control for people with wider feet or who prefer a little more toe room.

MIPS - The MIPS BPS System is designed to add protection against the rotational motion transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. The rotational motion is a combination of rotational energy and rotational forces from angular acceleration that both affect the brain and increases the risk for minor and severe brain injuries.
