Once items are used and disposed of
IT is transported ...
to a far away land where they enter another realm ... 6
a realm of ‘life’ 7
the garbage from households is brought to the landfiill, f creating man made craters of waste scattered across
and on one such afternoon a young bottle arose from its sleep 8
as he walked around wondering what to do next...
He could suddenly feel the breeze ...
smell the scents
it was all too bizarre, until . . . we are at the edge of losing all that we have gotten used to... look at the plastic! ... look how much of it comes in every bloody day, jesus!
9
I know *sigh* yesterday they found out what was blocking the drainage: the dammed plastic! It took them a month to f fiigure that, what a waste of time
I’ll tell you what the problem with plastic is: its immortal, it takes up to Thousand years for it to decompose, which only means that almost every single piece of plastic ever made still exisist.
10
as young bottle continued ...
He came across a very strange diversion
11
He had entered a world of his own, where garbage like him had the hope and the recourses to make something of their lives.
12
Where they had the chance to dream, chance to become someone, make something of their own ... a chance to have an identity.
13
Where am i?
are you lost?
umm...
14
Alright, come along
where are we?
we are in the sewage
Sewage?
yes. you will start work tommorrow and for the time being you’ll stay here 15
kabbage street! next stop kabbage street!
Don’t be silly, that’s the ferry is that human shit?
Now please, move along
16
The next morning
The new arrivals were made to stand in queues outside the parliament office fI to receive their identity cards and for further allocation of standard jobs.
every single one of them, were each given a number, and separated according to material properties.
17
Later they were further divided to do menial jobs, for example: Mr Paint Bucket’s job was fairly simple, which made him the most important fiigure of the community f
he was also known as thefirst face. He introduced the confused and terrified young garbage to the world they walked into and ...
made lodging arrangements for each one of them. 18
Meanwhile, on the other side of the drainage system,
the level of water flowing from the septic tanks was dangerously increasing. 19
The forces of the water were threatening the walls of the dam.
As the water broke through ...
20
it enveloped the city in its viscious rage
And while the small town of sewage was being swallowed
21
back on the road the tremors from underneath breaks the electrical line
The water is electrically charged!
causing some loose lines to fall into the water below.
We need to evacuate the population! How long does the septic tank take to empty Three to two hours sir We need to seal the main inlet, initiate main gate lock down, let’s see if we can slow this down Initiating lock down 22
The heavy metal gates were released against the raging current, trying to fi ght back
OH NO, the metal is getting electrocuted!
The flood breaks through the gate.
SHEEIT! Initiate phase two lock down!
Sir, if the metal gates couldn’t survive this, the bamboo doesn’t stand a chance 23
The workers from the landfill were certain it was the plastic that blocked the pipes
yesterday they found out what the hell was blocking the drainage, the dammed plastic!
And its a given ! Plastic cannot conduct electiricy unlike metal.
so does that mean ...
24
Mr. Paint Bucket! Gather all the plastic bottles!
25
Young bottle herds all the plastics to the main inlet
and one by one starts making them stand under the current,
slowly sinking harder into the soil
26
the bottles start to fill up
They start stacking themselves one above another
creating a gigantic plastic wall 27
It’s working! It’s working! Young bottle, you need to change the direction of the currents! Send it through the left outlet it opens up to the lake outside
28
All the plastics had come together to rescue the small town of Sewage, the wall was slowly getting built towards the left outlet.
29
Just a little more to go!
The current of the flood changes,
all the water gets reversed towards the lake outside
30
The town of Sewage was saved.
31
Before he knew it, Young bottle was the new gossip
The citizens adored him, and most importantly the plastic’s had a new face to worship.
32
Young bottle was assigned to work in the parliament, side by side with Mr. Paint bucket.

Part Two
35
Welcome, we all should be very grateful to be alive and to be standing here today to have homes and family to go back to. I have to agree we were very close this time.
36
37
But what went right that day?
38
39
Look at yourselves ... what are you made off?
What is your material capable of?
40
What is each and every single one of you capable of?
41
Well it’s very evident isn’t it?
we are capable of stopping a fl ood!
what are we? Plastic! Say it with me
42
and you know what? Someone may refer to us as immortal, let me tell you why: Because we are non-degradable unlike all the other materials, the Earth cannot take us back. What do you do when you know you are immortal? If we come together like we did to stop the fl ood, then maybe, just maybe ...
43
... we shall take over the world!
44
to be continued . . .
