AARCHITECTURAL PRESENTATIONS

SCHOOL PROJECTS

2014 - 2018-

TThe following presentations are based on school projects that I've designed throughout my college studies at the Latin University of Costa Rica, most of them describe the process behind the design of each building, how they work and their overall aesthetic.

“MADC” PROJECT

Museum Of Contemporary Art And Design Architecture can help promote the cultural enrichment of a space, this could be achieved by designing buildings that reﬂect the character and essence of the place in which its located. The purpose of the project is to provide a new venue for the existing Museum of Contemporary Art and Design located in San Jose, it will help recollect, interpret and exhibit the cultural, scientiﬁc and artistic artwork of local and international artists.

“CCEM” PROJECT

Metropolitan Cultural Center

The “CCEM” is a urban project, located in Barrio la California, San Jose, it consists on four buildings, an Auditorium, a Pavilion, a Coffee Shop, and a Restaurant, each of them located within an strategically designed Public Park. The main purpose of the design is to hold cultural, social and artistic events that require large open spaces that are open to the general public.

“FS” PROJECT FRUELA STORE DESIGN

The “FRUELA” brand offers products li notebooks, and accessories, based on leather vinyl, and acrylic, the collection d the Pre-Columbian Costarrican Art.

The designs are conservative and sober, with a color pallet that consists in white, black, brown and red. The same guidelines were used on the design for the store.

“MEL” PROJECT

EMERGENCY MODULAR HOME

This house consists on a modular model that adapts to the majority of emergency situations and terrains that can occur in Puerto Viejo, Limon. Primarily fabricated with natural materials like bamboo and wood, the roof is the most important component of the house; it protects its users from solar radiation, rain and wind, also the roof can be easily manipulated, it changes position depending on what the needs of the users living inside are, depending on the position of the sun and direction of the winds. The design consists on 2 levels, the kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are located on the ﬁst level, and a big social area can be found on the second ﬂoor. The entire home is raised from the ground to prevent damage from happening, because of the occurring inundations that happen in the area.

Both located in Escazu. an important factor that can determine the quality of life of the locals, also; ences the interactions between communities from different social groups.

Logo Designs FREELANCE PROJECTS

2018-

The logo designs are made for different brands as freelance projects. They include the characteristics of the brand such as: color pallets, the products they sell and the image they want to project to the world.

GOMU SA PROJE CT-

“GOMUSA Products” is a company that commercially produces different types of peanuts, candy and coconut ﬂakes. They wanted a logo that represented their new all natural peanut based candy.

M&V PROJECTTwo business partners own a company that offers house maintenance services, such as landscaping and painting. They wanted a new logo based on the merge of both of their names and asked for a variety of designs to pick from.

“SAN JOSE” MAG

SAN JOSE, CATEDRAL DISTRICT This presentation showcases the urban life of San Jose, speciﬁcally in Cathedral District. It talks about subjects like people on the streets, the architecture, the scale and characteristics of the different buildings, and the recreational and cultural activities that happen during the year.

The following presentation designs are based on school projects that I've made throughout my college studies at the Latin University of Costa Rica, they portray a balance between written and visual information.

A well-designed infographic can help simplify a complicated subject or turn an otherwise boring subject into a captivating experience. Adding interactive content like infographics to a presentation can be one of the most effective strategies in an overall digital marketing campaign.

One of my favorite things to do is drawing, whether if it is for a school project, freelance work or simply to pass the time it is my favorite way to express my self. Normally the drawings are made with black ink pen, or with an Ipad and Apple Pen.
