The Flaws Of Facebook Facebook is one of the most popular social networking sites, these days. I'm not really sure why, though. I do use Facebook and I like it well enough, but it has some major flaws that I could do without. One major problem that I've experienced with Facebook is that it can be very glitchy. For example, I have posted a personal status message and had it not show up at all, sometimes. At other times, though, I've posted it once and had multiple copies of it appear. There's also a feature that allows me to ignore posts from certain people, which I use often. However, I use it often because some of the people I ignore become inexplicably reinstated now and then. So, I am forced to re-ignore them. Another issue that Facebook has is that an individual's homepage is not set up in a way that friends' pages can be quickly accessed. Any time I want to go to a specific one of my friends' pages, I have to weed through my huge list of buddies. It's either that or I just hope that they made a recent post that I can click on. Also, since I have so many Facebook friends, I often miss updates because only so many can fit on one page. That problem caused me to miss an important update last week about one of my friends being ill. Maybe Facebook should institute some sort of emergency post feature that will make a post prioritize ahead of everything else. I'm not saying that Facebook is bad. I just don't feel that there's any real reason to use it above any other social networking website. I also use MySpace and Twitter and, though they have slightly different features, I don't really like one over another. Advertising with Facebook
