History of Colliers International in Asia Pacific Colliers traces its roots back to 1898, when Macaulay Nicolls was founded in Vancouver, Canada as a real estate, property management and insurance agency.
1991 1976 Colliers is born in Australia when three likeminded companies merge and adopt the name of their mentor, Ronald Collier.
Colliers International in Asia Pacific partners with Jardine Matheson Ltd. to become Colliers Jardine.
2010 Asia completes the global roll-out of the new visual identity and brand positioning, presenting globally as one company, one name, one brand, one vision.
2013 FirstService acquires a majority stake in Colliers in Germany, which further strengthens the brand’s market positioning and competitiveness in EMEA.

1978 - 1980 Colliers becomes international and opens new offices in Hong Kong, New Zealand, Singapore and Malaysia.

Colliers Macaulay Nicolls (CMN) acquires an additional 50% interest in Colliers Jardine, resulting in full ownership and return to the name Colliers International.
90% of Colliers’ revenue is under single ownership following FirstService Corporation’s acquisition of Colliers’ business in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
