PUMPKIN CARVING TIPS TO ENSURE YOURS IS BEST IN SHOW •
Cut from the bottom not the top — this helps prevent the sides from caving in.
•
Draw your design on paper first. Tape the paper to the front of your pumpkin and use a fork to pierce holes along the carving lines.
•
Make rough cuts first. Cut the larger parts out first to give you more room to cut out the details.
•
Secure any broken pieces with toothpicks.
•
If you choose to add a candle in your pumpkin, consider sprinkling some cinnamon on the bottom — it will smell like pumpkin pie!
