Ann Matteson lives by her motto, “People are my passion.” She markets properties utilizing professional ethics, organizational skills and enthusiasm. Her experience is earned from growing up in Raleigh and her many years working the Triangle real estate market. Consistently a top-producer, Ann personally handles all of her transactions and details. She has participated in the sales and marketing of numerous subdivisions giving her an “insider’s” knowledge of development, design, building, marketing and selling new construction.

The industry has recognized Ann’s forty-plus years of active leadership by inducting her into the prestigious Luxury Home Marketing Group. This is a group of only fifteen topproducing women in Wake County. She has also received the Previews Property Specialty Award for marketing high-end homes in addition to several MAME (Major Achievements in Marketing and Excellence) Awards. Ann’s previous agency for seven years, Coldwell Banker, awarded her the Diamond Award earned by only six percent of their top agents nationwide. Ann is a liated with The National Association of Realtors, The Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors, The North Carolina Association of Realtors and the Triangle Multiple Listing Service.

Ann Matteson has been in real estate since graduating from Salem College in 1979 earning degrees from a double major in Economics-Management and Sociology. She attended Saint Mary’s School prior to college. Ann and her husband have two grown daughters who reside in Raleigh with their families. She enjoys her free time golfing, traveling and being with her family.

A native of Raleigh, community service is an important aspect of Ann’s life. She has served on numerous boards including Saint Mary’s School, Ravenscroft School Parent Board, Alice Aycock Poe Center for Health Education and the Duke Children’s Hospital Horse Show Board. Ann and her husband chaired the 2006 Annual Fund for Saint Mary’s School setting a record $1 million+ for the school. Ann is active in her church as a former Sunday School teacher, Colony Care Leader and currently on the Usher Guild and a church o cer as a Deacon.
