Growing up in Jamestown, North Carolina, with family and friends always within walking distance has taught me the importance of connecting with the community you surround yourself with. I have carried that strong sense of community with me as time has gone by, shown by my work and volunteerism in multiple non-profits in the area. My background in project management & committee work has given me the skills to balance difficult situations, listen to multiple viewpoints, and the expertise to identify common ground.
