LAKE NORMAN
Just 20 miles north of Charlotte and more than 500 miles of shoreline, Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in the Carolinas and borders the charming towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville and Denver. Each area offers a unique array of attractions, activities and eats.
UNIVERSITY
Surrounding the University of North Carolina campus and northeast of Charlotte, Charlotte Motor Speedway can be found on the neighborhood’s outskirts along with the Concord Mills Mall.
UPTOWN Also known as Downtown Charlotte, Uptown is the heart of the Queen City. Major league sporting venues, Fortune 500 companies, and art museums can be found in the city’s historic core.
SOUTH END
Immediately south of Uptown, this area is known for its craft beers, trendy shops, and eclectic restaurants. Luxury apartments mix with upscale design shops, commerce, art and the Lynx Blue Line which is also a popular jogging and cycling circuit.
SOUTHPARK
Popular for its convenient commute to Uptown, SouthPark is one of the largest business districts in Charlotte and home to luxury shopping at SouthPark Mall. The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra plays summer concerts weekly at Symphony Park.
MYERS PARK
The prestigous, historic neighborhood is an area of fine homes, tree-lined streets, sidewalks, and home to many of the Queen City’s business leaders. The neighborhood is an important piece of Charlotte’s history and the city’s growth.
BALLANTYNE
SOUTH CAROLINA
While located in city limits, many view Ballantyne as a city within itself—with sought after schools, a PGA-ranked golf course and plenty of opportunities to live, work and play without leaving the area.
Just over the South Carolina border, there are many popular neighborhoods and attractions including Carowinds and Carolina Harbor Waterpark, Tega Cay Golf Club, and Rock Hill Supercross Track.
