The wellness and fitness facilities at the Rosengarten SPA have been expanded to include a new gym and indoor pool. The architecture and interior design reflect Simon Taxacher and Sandra Kobald’s impeccable standards. The 15m pool features integrated Jacuzzi beds and represents a sympathetic addition to the Rosengarten SPA’s wellbeing zone. Reclaimed spruce and stone quarried in the Rauris Valley are some of the local, natural materials used to cover walls and floors. Combined with the
sophisticated lighting concept, materials and design add to our guests’ comfort and wellbeing. Personal fitness in the new gym: with the latest TechnoGym cardio and strength training machines including: Excite Run 600 TV, Excite Synchro TV, Excite Bike TV, TechnoGym Evolution and sets of dumbbells. Use of the SPA facilities is free of charge for guests of the Relais & Châteaux Rosengarten.

He entrusted the young man from Upper Austria with this leadership role a year ago and says, ‘Martin Kinast started at Restaurant Simon Taxacher and very quickly rose to become an essential part of our business’.
GOURMET BREAKFAST Our hotel guests’ culinary day starts with an exquisite gourmet breakfast in the Bistro-Restaurant. Christiane Taxacher is in charge of breakfasts, making sure that your day has a relaxed and delicious start. Zestful, savoury or sweet – choose from an impressive selection of gourmet buffet delights and freshly prepared egg dishes.
Honest, no-nonsense, tasty and organic – these attributes perfectly describe the BistroRestaurant at the Relais & Châteaux Rosengarten. The BistroRestaurant has partnered with Brixentaler KochArt, an association of restaurants in the Kitzbühel Alps that focus on regional ingredients. This is reflected in the menu with its ‘Tyrolean highland beef tartare’, ‘Tyrolean char’ and ‘Braised Blacknose lamb’s tongues’. Kitzbühel Advent 6 – 26 December 2017 Away from the mountains and slopes, the sports town of Kitzbühel shows its magical side during Advent. In December the community invites you to discover the most enchanting Christmas town in the Alps. Tradition and heritage combine with international flair to create a fairytale atmosphere. Traditional handicrafts are on display at the Christmas market, including wood carving, basket weaving and pottery. There’s no better way to welcome the festive season than with a delicious glass of punch or mulled wine and traditional Alpine cuisine. To get you even more into the Christmas spirit there are lots of events in and around Kitzbühel during Advent, and the sophisticated shops of Gamsstadt are ideal for Christmas shopping. From 10am on 24 December you can pick up a light of peace from Bethlehem in the pavilion. Advent in Kirchberg Traditional and atmospheric: Kirchberg comes alive during Advent with a truly enchanting feel like no other winter sport resort in the Alps, and Kirchberg’s Christmas market opens at 1pm on 10 December. This year’s highlight is the arrival of Santa Claus in a horse-drawn carriage at 4.30pm. Legendary ski area on the doorstep Nestled between Kitzbüheler Horn, Hahnenkamm, Pengelstein and Resterhöhe, the Kitzbühel/Kirchberg ski area offers hundreds of kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, dozens of lifts and lots of rustic mountain huts with magnificent views. Skiers and snowboarders – both beginners and advanced – are spoilt for choice with lots of slopes in an area spanning seven municipalities. In addition, all practice lifts in the Kitzbühel Valley ski area are available free of charge to beginners and returners. More experienced skiers can practice their skills on the legendary Streif downhill ski run, where every year World Cup stars compete in the traditional Hahnenkamm ski races. Night owls are invited to join the night skiing at Sportberg Gaisberg in Kirchberg. This mountain is also home to an exhilarating toboggan run, which is easy to reach with the Gaisberg lift. Away from the slopes, winter sports fans have lots of options for keeping active during the winter, including the 600km network crosscountry skiing, winter hiking, ice climbing, tobogganing, snowshoeing and taster biathlons. For a leisurely end to the day, you can’t beat a romantic sleigh ride through the fairytale winter landscape of the Kitzbühel/ Kirchberg region.
