Tyrolean Festival Erl – Full speed ahead – 25 evenings of non stop musical delights The Tyrolean Festival Erl opens its summer 2016 season with a new production of Rossini’s ‘Guglielmo Tell’, and continues in an equally scintillating fashion with a new production of Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’ as well as Wagner’s ‘Ring’ on four successive days, six concerts with three different orchestras, four specially commissioned pieces, eight superb chamber music evenings, a series of concerts at the Festspielhaus and two special performances. From 7 until 31 July 2016 the Tyrolean Festival Erl will be hosting a grand total of 25 different musical performances.

Earlier this year, 3 Michelin starred chef Christian Bau came to Kirchberg’s Relais & Châteaux Rosengarten. He and Simon Taxacher will be getting together again on 12 June, and the venue for the summer’s gourmet highlight is Victor’s Fine Dining by Christian Bau in Perl-Nennig on the Moselle.

Following the successful première of Simon Taxacher KULINARTIKA 2015, the culinary extravaganza is to be repeated: Kirchberg will be ‘cooking up another storm’ in October. The major cornerstones of the culinary festival are already evident: show cooking, tasting of local delicacies in Aschau, mountain gastronomy at Ochsalm, and gourmet evenings with top chefs at Simon Taxacher’s Relais & Châteaux Rosengarten. We look forward to finding out which top chefs will accept this year’s invitation to Kirchberg. Last year the celebrity chef played host to Norbert Niederkofler, Konstantin Filippou, Thorsten Probost, Hubert Wallner, Ralf Berendsen and TV chef Mike Süsser.
