What our alumni think of the course — “The Department has strong links with industry and provides everything that I expected for a Master’s programme. I met people from all over the world in my Master’s programme and had the opportunity to work with them through the course.” — Alden D’Souza MSc
— “It gave me a wide range of skills including technical theory and a practical knowledge of how renewable technologies operate. This is vital in a business that designs, installs and operates renewable and low carbon technologies.” — Katy McBurnie MSc
— “Good balance of depth and breadth in each module. Good use of technology to support DL. The on-line LEARN platform and module chat forums work really well and the various simulation packages were also great to work with. Motivated staff with a deep understanding and passion for their topic which definitely spreads to the students.” — Paul Demain
— “It has been an excellent course with interesting topics and material delivered by some great people. I would not hesitate in recommending the course.” — Shandip Abeywickrema

— “I have been deeply impressed at the depth and quality of the teaching that is conducted at CREST… it’s still ahead of its time. Others have in some respects ‘caught up’ with this impressive benchmark but CREST continues to innovate. I’m particularly impressed at the investment that CREST has made in distance learning, enabling far larger numbers of people to benefit from its experience and inspiring teaching… there are still huge capacity gaps across the entire energy system in all countries of the world today, and CREST stands absolutely at the forefront of filling those gaps.” — Jonathon Porritt CBE Founder Director, Forum for the Future
