Welcome to our Members* and supporters to Loughborough University, where today we host Rotherham Titans in another Round of National 2 North.

It is great to welcome a club I have a strong affinity to, having coached there in the 20162017 season. The club has a proud history and it is great to see them build on the solid start to the season. They will be looking to continue this today I’m sure, and it will be a challenge for our young squad. Our victory last week against Harrogate (A) was another step forward and a pleasing win away from home. We will be keen to get back on the rubber crumb and play our brand of rugby today. We also welcome Leroy O’Neil to the squad this weekend, who comes to us on loan from Northampton Saints, welcome to the #LoughboroughFamily. Our great start to BUCS rugby has continued this week with both BUCS Super Rugby and BUCS 2 continuing their unbeaten home record. The BSR squad impressively saw off a strong Cardiff Met side in a thriller 37-33, to keep us 2nd in the table. Whilst our BUCS 2 squad maintained their Unbeaten run with a thunderous 60 – 12 win against Bishop Burton. I am really pleased to also welcome many of our distinguished Alumni today who are back together on campus for a day of reminiscing and storytelling. Our proud history as a club is something that we welcome to celebrate and I hope you all enjoy the day, and seeing this generation continue to carry the Loughborough Flag.
