LOUGHBOROUGH LIGHTNING

6

With the possibility of no game again this weekend, it is a well deserved break for the Lightning team who remain 5 games unbeaten in the national league as well as our BUCS side booking themselves a spot in the national semi final. It’s frankly a remarkable turnaround for the team and a reward for all players and staffs commitment, work rate and desire to improve. A long road still to go and we know our battle for safety is huge, every Sunday an opportunity to keep the distance from the bottom three. But we are heading in the right direction. Our Lightning Development side also had a successful weekend after coming from a goal behind to defeat Lincoln City Development Side 4-2 at home. Our Women’s BUCS teams have also been flying this season with our Women’s 2nd Team getting to the final of the BUCS Cup against East Anglia 1’s which will be played on the stadium pitch next Wednesday 9th March. I would also like to congratulate our Women’s 4s who have won their BUCS league and also our Women’s 3s who are also on track to do so. by Issy Martin NEXT MATCH: Sunday 13 March v’s Wolves, Home KO 14.00

Graduate Area Manager Programme

With around 38,000 employees and over 900 stores across the UK, Aldi goes above and beyond for its customers, local communities and its colleagues. Working at Aldi means more than just earning a competitive salary and receiving fantastic benefits. It may be hard work but Aldi truly cares about its colleagues and supports each and every one to develop and progress, both personally and professionally.

As the UK’s 5th largest supermarket embarks on an ambitious growth period, aiming to operate 1,200 stores by 2025, employing the right people is crucial. We are therefore looking for ambitious, driven and enthusiastic graduates to join #TeamAldi and support our stores across the country, by supporting up to 100 team members and managing a group of stores.

Adaptability is key. And with opportunities for secondments and progression it’s about being part of something bigger and contributing to the success of Aldi.

Graduate Area Managers will need to have a 2:1 degree at undergraduate level, 96 UCAS points from their top 3 A Levels and a driving licence. Our benefits package includes a salary of £44,000 rising to £79,040 after four years, a fully expensed BMW and unparalleled exposure, training and support.
