LOUGHBOROUGH LIGHTNING

6

Firstly, congratulations on behalf of the women’s football programme to Jamie and all players for their historic cup run. Its been fantastic to support and see the groups progress. Good luck today, we’ll be supporting! After two Sundays ‘off’ from National League action, the players are raring to go for tomorrow’s fixture vs Wolves. The team’s momentum shift and fearless performances since the Christmas break have been remarkable. A run of 5 games unbeaten has given the group a reward for all their hard work and lifted us out of the relegation zone. We know there is along way to go with many tests left to face to secure ourselves a spot in Tier 3 for next season. Tomorrow will be one of those tests; Wolves are one of the strongest teams in the league. Loughborough Alumni Amber Hughes will be tough to contain as probably Wolves biggest threat. However with the fight shown against the likes of Derby, we’ll be keen to reproduce such team performances tomorrow to come away with more points on the board. Thanks again to all our supporters following our journey this season, your encouragement as our “12th player” is greatly valued! by Issy Martin NEXT MATCH: Sunday 13 March v’s Wolves, Home KO 15.00

Graduate Area Manager Programme

With around 38,000 employees and over 900 stores across the UK, Aldi goes above and beyond for its customers, local communities and its colleagues. Working at Aldi means more than just earning a competitive salary and receiving fantastic benefits. It may be hard work but Aldi truly cares about its colleagues and supports each and every one to develop and progress, both personally and professionally.

As the UK’s 5th largest supermarket embarks on an ambitious growth period, aiming to operate 1,200 stores by 2025, employing the right people is crucial. We are therefore looking for ambitious, driven and enthusiastic graduates to join #TeamAldi and support our stores across the country, by supporting up to 100 team members and managing a group of stores.

Adaptability is key. And with opportunities for secondments and progression it’s about being part of something bigger and contributing to the success of Aldi.

Graduate Area Managers will need to have a 2:1 degree at undergraduate level, 96 UCAS points from their top 3 A Levels and a driving licence. Our benefits package includes a salary of £44,000 rising to £79,040 after four years, a fully expensed BMW and unparalleled exposure, training and support.
