Outstanding campus Loughborough University London operates inside an 8,500m² collaborative learning space, providing state-of-the-art equipment and materials to ensure knowledge, research and creativity can thrive. As a postgraduate student with us, you will gain 24-hour access to all of our facilities, including our campus library, which holds over 9,000 books, journals and papers. A further 1.2 million resources can also be found online.
You will also have access to cutting-edge technology, including over 150 laptops available to hire, high-powered CAD computers, wide format printers, 3D printers, laser cutters and much more.

Globalising actors/activists in multinational companies
This ESRC funded project investigating globalising actors, namely those who create, and implement new global norms in multinational companies.
Law, corporate governance and development This research area focuses on the role of macrolevel factors in shaping globalisation, specifically how governments and international organisations, shape the convergence process of corporate governance practices.
The internationalisation of firms from emerging economies
This research area examines the rapidly growing outward foreign direct investment (OFDI) from emerging economies.
Comparative political economy of work
This research area focuses on the comparative and historical analysis of work and employment relations within Europe and North America. This includes investigating models of global best practice for work organisation and labour management, such as lean production and business process re-engineering.

This programme By undertaking our International Management MSc, you will gain an in depth understanding of the different national and cultural contexts in which firms operate, whilst developing and enhancing your analytical and research skills. The programme will enable you to gain a broad, analytical and integrative understanding of business and international management, by introducing you to diverse national contexts and their affect on economic activity around the world.
You will develop knowledge of emerging markets and global strategy in order to apply this to the complex field of international management, both systematically and creatively, to improve business practice. This programme Our MSc International Management and Emerging Economies will provide you with a comprehensive and integrated understanding of the particular challenges facing firms in emerging economies. Specific issues include the process of economic reform, the pressures of globalisation and the opportunities for internationalisation at firm-level. Management and Work in a Global Context MSc

This programme This interdisciplinary programme will draw on theories, principles and teaching from a broad range of disciplines to analyse how macrolevel global competitive pressures and national institutions impact the management of people in different organisations. We will discuss the role of formal and cultural institutions in shaping organisations and the economy, and will evaluate how models of global best practice regarding work organisation and labour management spread unevenly across national borders.
You will also gain a detailed insight into the impact of workplace politics and culture, and how these factors can shape the organisation of work and present problems of conflict, negotiation and accommodation. This programme includes insights, collaboration opportunities and guest teaching on the issues affecting global organisations. As such, this programme will appeal to students from a diverse range of academic and professional backgrounds, including those with an interest in starting a new global business or learning the latest international management theories and applications.

This programme You will develop a comprehensive understanding of the strategies used by multinational companies to manage risks arising from their environment. You will acquire the increasingly valuable knowledge and skills required to identify, evaluate and respond to risks facing multinational organisations operating in a rapidly changing global context. We will examine how companies use corporate political activity, corporate social responsibility and corporate governance to navigate opportunities and challenges arising from changes in international economic governance, foreign policy and international politics. 14
