Write a Good Article Here’s How Article writing does not have to be hard, and your article does not have to be a masterpiece, I'll give you some shortcuts in the next chapter to help speed up your writing and get you writing about topics you know nothing about, but for now then know your article does not have to be magazine quality. I have hired writers who have written things which were just incredible, they really knew how to write and I'd love to be able to write like them. But I am just an average person, with average writing skills, I write this guide like I write my articles, friendly and down to earth, it conveys what I want it to but it is no Shakespeare. In fact I encourage you to write just like you speak, when I read articles that are all pumped up and grammatically perfect and journalistic, then unless it is on a news site, it is a big turnoff. I think most people online prefer down to earth writing as they know it comes from someone like them (of course if your niche is journalism or something like that then ignore everything in this chapter!). So research your article like I will discuss in the next chapter, then just start writing, write an introduction, a body, and then close off the article, let's look at each part in more detail. Introduction: This is the first paragraph where you need to grab their attention, and let them know you are speaking to them, if they were searching for information on how to housetrain their dog then you need to make sure they know in the first sentence or two that that is what you are going to be talking about. Try to make it interesting and engaging, and lead into what you are going to talk about or what you have to offer them. Talk about their problem and empathise with them so they know that you are there to help, so you might start off with: 'Isn't house training a puppy a nightmare? You try to get them to hold it in and give you a sign that they need to go out, but when you turn your back for just one minute then you hear that dreaded sound of running water‌ There are things you

can do to drastically speed up the process though, let's go through my top 5 tips on how to housetrain your puppy.' You can see how I have let them know I am on their side and that I have a possible solution to help them. The body: This is just the main part of the article where you give them all the information you promised them, keep paragraphs short and snappy and break up the content if you can, so if you have 5 tips then number them, or use one paragraph per tip with a short header in bold for each etc, just so it is not an expanse of writing *cough* see how I did that with the headings for this bit… *cough* Closing it off: Here is where you finish off the article and provide them with information how to move forward, summarise what you just told them briefly or maybe just reiterate the main point or top tip, then give them some action steps so they can go and get the results they want. Finally put in your resource box which entices them to your website and offers, I have a whole chapter on that later on because that is incredibly important. So there you go, to summarise… no I'm kidding, this is not an article so let's just move straight onto the main problems people encounter with articles.

Tips To Get Articles Read Articles have to be written to be read. It’s just a matter of making them good. Making a good article doesn’t have to be strenuous and straining. There are just some points needed to be reminded of, and some guides to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles could be fun

To make sure that your articles get read and enjoyed, here are six red-hot tips to get your articles read. These tips will make your articles readable and interesting. 1) Use short paragraphs. When the paragraph are very long, the words get jumbled in the mind of the reader just looking at it. It can get quite confusing and too much of a hard work to read. The reader will just quickly disregard the paragraph and move on to much easier reading articles that are good to look at as well as read. Paragraphs can be a single sentence, sometimes even a single word! 2) Make use of numbers or bullets. As each point is stressed out, numbers and bullets can quickly make the point easy to remember and digest. As each point, tip, guide or method is started with a bullet or point, readers will know that this is where the tips start and getting stressed. Format you bullets and numbers with indentations so that your article won’t look like a single block of square paragraphs. Add a little bit of flair and pizzazz to your articles shape. 3) Use Sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs in the page. Doing this will break each point into sections but still would be incorporated into one whole article. It would also be easy for the reader to move on from one point to another; the transition would be smooth and easy. You will never lose your readers attention as well as the point and direction to where the article is pointing. 4) Provide a good attention-grabbing title or header. If your title can entice a person’s curiosity you’re already halfway in getting a person to read your article. Use statements and questions that utilize keywords that people are looking for. Provide titles or headers that describe your articles content but should also be short and concise. Use titles like, “Tips on making her want you more”, or “How to make her swoon and blush” .You could also use titles that can command people, for example, “Make her yours in six easy Ways”. These types of titles reach out to a persons’ emotions and makes them interested. 5) Keep them interested from the start to the finish.

From your opening paragraph, use real life situations that can be adopted by the reader. Use good descriptions and metaphors to drive in your point, just don’t over do it. Driving your examples with graphic metaphors and similes would make it easy for them to imagine what you are talking about. Making the experience pleasurable and enjoyable for them. 6) Utilize figures when necessary and not just ordinary and insipid statements. Using specific facts and figures can heighten your article because it makes it authoritative. But do not make it too formal, it should be light and easy in them and flow. Like a friendly teacher having a little chat with an eager student.

The Main Problems People Encounter There are basically two problems people complain about when they come to use articles in their marketing strategy, the first is that they know nothing about the subject (if you are creating a niche website for instance) and the second is that writing articles takes too long, let's blow both of those problems out of the water right now: Writing about topics you know nothing about I have written on all sorts of topics, from Forex to rose gardening, to women's exercises and dog food recipes. Yet I know nothing about most of them. For most subjects, then all you need to do is go out and find articles talking about the subject you want to write about. Say you are looking at problems rose gardeners have, then use Google to find a few pages which talk about the top problems they face, maybe head over to EzineArticles.com and find some articles people have written. Then read through them all until you are happy you get the gist of what they are saying, then close them down (so you aren't tempted to copy anything from them) and just start to write, don't stop or think too much about anything until the end or you'll stop and start and ruin your flow.

If you need to go back and check out a name etc or go through them again then do that, but you should have studied the research materials enough at the start so you can just churn out a 250-500 word article from what you read. Make sure you don't copy any of it! Using other material as research then forming your own article based on that should be ok, but using actual content from another site is of course illegal. Now for harder subjects like Forex you may have to do some more work, either get together some research material and then spend some more time looking up the concepts discussed in it until you are happy you understand it all, and then write your article.

Writing articles takes too long? Nonsense! I can churn out articles in under 10 minutes if I don't have to research them, 15 minutes if I do! First of all, I gave you a great method above for writing articles quickly. Another way you can write articles really quickly is use the articles I gave you and then just literally rewrite them. You don't have to worry about so you can literally just read through a paragraph, then rewrite that in your own words, read the next and so on‌ The reason this cuts down the time it takes to write an article is because you don't need to think of an angle like '3 Steps to do..' or '10 Things You Shouldn't do When‌' etc, you can just blindly copy their angle into your own words. How to increase your productivity by 50% Even with all these tips so far then article writing can be time consuming, which is why you need to make sure you squeeze every last bit of wasted time out of the process. If you need to have articles to submit, but also articles for a website, then the quickest way I know of to increase your productivity massively is when you

write a unique article, then straight away rewrite that to make another one saying the same thing. All the research material or the content of the PLR articles I gave you will be fresh in your mind, so it is a lot quicker to churn out another article right then than to have to go and start a fresh one, this gives you two unique articles that say exactly the same thing. If you are putting one on your site and submitting the other to directories or using it on web 2.0 sites then it doesn't matter that they both say the same thing as they will be in two totally different places! Try it, you'll find the second article goes much faster and smoother!

Where to Submit to Submit to the main article directories for traffic, but don't dismiss the others as in the future they are a convenient place to get links from. So here are my top choices in terms of the traffic they can get you: EzineArticles.com GoArticles.com Buzzle.com (unique articles only) Searchwarp.com Articlealley.com Amazines.com Articlebase.com Web-source.net I believe that your time is best served in writing more articles for the top directories and looking after the ones you have already submitted, rather than submitting the same articles all over the place.

Getting Free Search Engine Traffic Let’s look at the 3 step process to getting your articles ranked: 1. Research 2. Construction 3. Backlinks

IMPORTANT! Keywords and Keyword Phrases. An article must always be centered on the keywords and keyword phrases. As each website visitor goes to a site, there are those who are just merely browsing but actually looking for a specific something. When this happens, a searcher usually goes to a search engine and types in the keywords they are looking for (e.g. Toyota Camry, Meningitis, Tax Lawyer and Etcetera). It could be anything they want.

Research The first thing you need to do is research the terms that you want to target, so first of all head over to the Google keyword tool at: https://adwords.google.co.uk/select/KeywordToolExternal SIDE NOTE Some of the Best Free Keyword Tools Include a) http://www.goodkeywords.com b) https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal c) http://www.spyfu.com

Change the country at the top to 'All countries and territories' and then type a word or two into the search box to do with your niche (enter different phrases on different lines), enter the captcha characters and click 'Get keyword ideas'. So for the acne niche then it would look like this:

The results that come up show the monthly searches made in Google for the past month, and the second column is the average monthly volume. Search volume is not always a sign of how competitive a phrase is going to be to rank for, but it is a good start because the higher search volume terms will be competed for by the people with big sites and big budgets, the much smaller search volume keywords should be easier to beat the competition on. Sort the data into descending order by search volume by clicking once on the header for the second column of figures:

Now look down the list until you get to phrases with 3 or more words in them, typically the longer the phrase then the more focussed the searcher is on getting an answer, the less competition there is, and the fewer searches there are. I start looking around the 1000 searches per month range, and I use the average volume column, the 'Global Monthly Search Volume' column as it is called now. Go down the list and you are trying to find keywords that you can write about but which also gel with what you are trying to promote (that is important!). So there is no point in trying to rank for 'best acne pill' if my site promotes an offer for an ebook on acne, you might get some conversions, but the searcher already has it in their head that they want a pill not an ebook. So make a list of phrases that you like the look of in Excel or Notepad, and if you are struggling to get many with smaller search volumes then dig deeper. So in the search results I have above then two of the top phrases are 'cure acne' and 'care acne' - type them in as your search phrases instead and you'll dig deeper into those phrases and hopefully get some different low volume phrases you can use. Now the next step is to search for the amount of sites that have that exact phrase in the title or description of their page. That gives us a rough figure as a further idea of the level of competition. We have discussed how important the title tag can be in SEO, so any page without the exact phrase in it is probably not specifically aiming to rank for it. To do this then search for the term again, but enclose it in speech marks this time so Google only finds pages with that term in either the title or description of the page, like this:

These results are not relevant to anything other than the level of competition, nobody will really search for the term in speech marks so don't get excited if it changes so all the pages on the front page are easy to beat. While some of the other pages you saw on the front page for the last search may not have the term in their title or description tags, then if they are on the front page they are doing something Google likes and are still the pages you need to beat. Now the figure you are looking for is in the top right of the search area:

You can see there are 1,300 results when you search in speech marks, this is a rough idea of your competition. Some people say anything with less than 50,000 results can be beaten by EzineArticles.com with a bit of work, and anything below 20,000 should be even easier, but again you'll get some keywords with just 5,000 results you can't seem to rank for and others with 50,000 you'll rank for in a heartbeat, this is just a rough idea. So you can see this has very little competition.

IMPORTANT: Keyword Research and Selection Your goal is to find keywords with high traffic and low competition. Here are some guidelines

1. Make sure each keyword has at least 300 or more global monthly searches. The more the better. 2. Each keyword must have less than 300,000 competing pages in Google. The lower the better 3. Make sure each keyword has less than 1,000 competing pages when using the “allintitle:” search modifier. The lower the better 4. Each keyword must have 3 or more words. Not only are long tail keywords easier to rank for but they are also more targeted. So you quality of visitor will increase. The ideal keyword has … 1. Over 1000 global monthly searches 2. Less than 100,000 pages competing in Google 3. Less than 10,000 pages in “quotes” competing 3. Less than 700 “All In Title”

4. Multiple user generated content like Squidoo, Hubpages and articles on the first page. I prefer to use Google’s Keyword Tool over any other keyword tool. Why? They are the authority in web traffic and it is good to know what they say gets traffic.. I will also say that Wordtracker’s free tool is also great for finding long-tail keywords.

Construction

Now it is time to write the articles, we discussed earlier how to write a good article so now let's talk about an important SEO concept, keyword density. This is a measure of how many times your keyword appears in the text per 100 words. This is another fiercely debated issue and everyone has their own 'magic number' which they swear works for them. The problem is that number is coming down all the time. It used to be anything up to 5% which to be honest makes your pages sound awful! But thankfully Google has recognised that as trying to spam the search engines and now most people use 1 - 2%. When submitting to article directories your article will be reviewed by a human editor so it needs to sound right. I typically use about 1%, but I might throw in a few variations of the keyword as well just to help things out. Which brings me to the next point, if you can get the keyword in exactly as it is then by all means do it, but only if it sounds natural. Some keywords might sound strange to put them in an article like, 'house train dog fast' - some people will just shoehorn that into their sentences to get their density up, but it is obvious to the editors what you are doing, and your reader thinks you are a bit strange but doesn't know why you are doing it! You need to write for both the reader and the search engines, so while some may disagree with me, then if I encounter a phrase like that I will add a word or two to it in order to make it sound right. So you could have something like, 'If you

really want to know how to house train your dog fast then you need…' which sounds perfectly normal but you get almost the exact phrase in there. So typically I write 400 word articles, I have found that to work well for me, it is a lot easier for me to write for some reason (500 words always seems like I have to stretch things out), costs less when you outsource, and provides a good amount of information at the same time. That means I'd have the keyword phrase in there about 4 times, maybe with some instances of the words repeated but not together, so I'd get the terms 'house train', 'dog' and 'fast' in there a few times as well during the article but not near each other. You want to get one instance of the keyword phrase in as soon as possible, one as late as possible, then the other two in the middle somewhere. That is pretty much it for the construction of the article, remember what I told you about writing a good article and just get stuck in!

Resource Box – Get The Click Some people find the perfect keywords, they craft exquisite articles, then they dump a resource box on it and try to get it to rank… hang on, we're not writing these articles for fun you know! The whole purpose of writing these articles is to get people through to your site, and you can't do that with a half-baked resource box, that is what makes people click through to your site (or not!). Your resource box needs to give the person reading a clear, compelling and above all relevant reason to click through. By relevant I mean don't have an article on acne and try to get them to click through for weight loss information, or don't talk about the benefits of autoresponders then try to get them to download a free report on Google Adwords, the messages need to match. You don't need to craft the perfect resource box though, because as you go along you can test your resource boxes on EzineArticles.com as it tells you the visits and clickthroughs. So you can try out different messages and see which ones get the highest clickthrough rate then use that one as your standard one!

I have seen some really bad resource boxes, the worst are the ones where people introduce themselves, tell everyone a bit about them, then give them a link to visit their main site‌ You have to think about it from their point of view, sure you may get some people clicking through that link, but you need to give people a reason to visit your site, and you need to tell people what to do so they actually do it. Think about if you would click through if you saw that resource box. It can be any reason to visit your site, more articles on that topic, a free report, a special offer, a piece of news in that niche, whatever, as long as it draws people in. So you might use: 'If you really want to cure the misery of acne then visit our blog where we bust open the secrets on one of the top acne products on the market today - click here to read more' or 'We discovered 3 common household items you can use to cure your acne in just 3 days, click here now to get your free report' They are not great but you can build on them every time you write an article to polish them, just don't make your resource box boring if you want people to click through! You also need to consider putting in links with good anchor text so you can get some SEO benefit from your articles, to do that you can work a second link into your resource box early on which goes to a page on your site you want to get ranked, hopefully people will then keep reading past that link and click the one you tell them to at the end. So if you wanted to get some links for a page you thought could rank on the term 'natural acne cure' then you might have it like this: 'If you really want to discover a natural acne cure then visit our blog where we bust open the secrets on one of the top natural acne products on the market today - click here to read more'

Then you get two benefits, click throughs and backlinks!

But like the article itself, the resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader. While the resource bow encompasses only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more prodding for the reader to go to your site.

Making money with article marketing is easy Making money with article marketing is easy. Here’s the trick to making money with articles and how article marketing can make you cash. One of the main benefits of article marketing is… The Ability To Create An Authority Site Through Wide Spread Promotion

If you have a website, product or service and want to get the word out article marketing is an ideal way to go. Article marketing promotion if done right can increase your exposure, brand you as the expert and create a ton of free traffic. Probably one of the best things is that you can increase the power of your website with article marketing. The fact that you can place your articles on sites that already rank well in the searches engines and link back to your site and be very powerful. The real power here is that you will get your site to rank higher in the search engines from writing articles. When your site ranks higher you get more traffic… when you get more traffic your site ranks higher … and if your site ranks higher you get more traffic! The circles goes around and around once you get the snowball running. For many people the easy way to get their pages ranked higher is to build backlinks through article marketing.

Article marketing can still be very hit and miss. The trick is that every article needs to be promoted because it will dramatically increase the power of the backlink as well as the amount of targeted traffic it will get you. But all of this needs to fit in the picture of a larger strategy. The real trick is to build one site that is your main hub. A site with authority. You do this by creating one website with many articles on it then using things like article marketing to promote your website. Article marketing can drive some traffic but the main benefit of it is the sheer quality and quantity of backlinks you can get. If you just point to an affiliate link you will be drastically reducing the power of your article marketing. So if you are interested in making money with article marketing you really should be interested in creating an authority site. Why? Because article marketing is used to build backlinks – primarily. You can get some traffic through it directly but the amount of traffic you get directly will never equal the potential traffic you get get from building an authority site. So if you really are interested in making money with article marketing you should create SEO articles that promote a SEO site. This is where the true power comes from. Also use tools that widely distribute your content. This helps you even further. If you are going to write content you might as well submit it to many directories. “But what about the duplicate content penalty?!” you might say. Well first off in my testing duplicate content is not penalized and secondly you can spin your articles. The link above links to a create tool that both submits your articles and spins your articles. So each article you submit to the 800+ directories is unique. The real reason to spin articles is to leave the foot print as low as possible. I do believe search engines are smart enough to spot spun articles but there is nothing wrong with widely distributing your content. You see the tool above submits to many directories but they will not be nearly as powerful as directories like Ezine articles. So what you want to do is submit to the 800+ directories and link back to your ezine article or other powerful article directories. Every article needs to be promoted so this helps that a lot. Also here are some good tips for spinning.

Vary the length of your paragraphs. What I usually do is write my article without any line breaks. So it is just one wall of text. Then I use this spinning notation {| } In between every sentence so it is a 50% chance of it creating a line break. This instantly makes every article’s paragraph length unique so it reduces the footprint. Also do not link to the same article in every article. Since you can spin it I like to link to my site about 90% of the time and link to other articles around 90% of the time. I will do it with spinning notation like this… {<a href=”http://www.mystite.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.mystite.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.mystite.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.mystite.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.mystite.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.mystite.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|Keyword</a>} Do you see how the last one in the spinning notation does not link to my site? I usually put that in the spun article body if possible or in the resource. One link per article is OK but you can also link to your main ezine article too if you want or even vary the articles you link to with similar spinning notation like this… {<a href=”http://www.myarticle.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle2.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle3.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle4.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle5.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle6.com”>Keyword In Anchor Text</a>} Since you vary the sites you link to you don’t have to worry about not linking in one of the articles. Also, another good tip if you use services to submit to web 2.0 property you can also add in spinning notation for different images. This reduces the footprint even more. I would use something like this…

{<a href=”http://www.myarticle.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img.jpg” border=”0″></a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle2.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img1.jpg” border=”0″></a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle3.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img2.jpg” border=”0″></a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle4.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img3.jpg” border=”0″></a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle5.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img4.jpg” border=”0″></a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle6.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img.jpg” border=”0″></a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle7.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img1.jpg” border=”0″></a>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle8.com”><img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img2.jpg” border=”0″></a>} Do you see how it links to a different article with a different image? The idea is to vary up the images and articles. Here is another variation. {<a href=”http://www.myarticle.com”>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle2.com”>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle3.com”>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle4.com”>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle5.com”>|<a href=”http://www.myarticle6.com”>}{<img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img.jpg” border=”0″>|<img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img1.jpg” border=”0″>|<img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img2.jpg” border=”0″>|<img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img3.jpg” border=”0″>|<img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img4.jpg” border=”0″>|<img src=”http://www.mysite.com/img5.jpg” border=”0″>}</a> The above spinning notation is probably a bit better because it is a bit more random. The goal is to try to make each article unique. Why You Increase Traffic With Articles

The benefit of article marketing is in the quality of links not the direct

traffic. So make sure that you are using some sort of SEO’d landing page and link to it from the article. I have noticed that with article marketing I mostly get the power of the backlink. The traffic from the article it’s self does happen but it is really about the backlink. So keep this in mind when creating articles. If you do not use articles to increase your other website’s property ranks in the search engine results pages (SERPs) you will be sabotaging yourself and your ability of making money with article marketing. The Hidden Benefit Of Articles – Create A Brand And Brand Yourself As An Expert

Writing articles can have a great impact on how you are viewed in your market. The best place to be is a highly paid expert. So in your article marketing efforts you want to position yourself as the expert with”go to status.” The very fact that you have created articles and they are on the internet will impress a lot of people. But if you have articles that provide real value, displace an intimate knowledge of your marketplace and their needs, and then go out and fulfill it you instantly have labeled yourself as someone who is an expert. Positioning is an important part of the online income game. You want to make sure that you are the expert in your niche then go out and display your expertise. What better way than mass syndication of content? Well… how about mass syndication of content that promotes YOUR website. A website that gains natural authority from the value of the content and really helps people. So go ahead and take action the these steps and start making money with article marketing. Just remember that your goal is to rank your other website’s better in the SERPS and position yourself as the expert.

Web 2.0 Heaven Web 2.0 sites to me mean sites that use mostly user generated content, so Facebook, Squidoo, Weebly, even Wikipedia is a web 2.0 site. Some you can't use

to market, like Wikipedia and Facebook, others you can like Squidoo, Weebly, Hubpages and ClearBlogs. You have to be wary of the rules of these sites (but then you have to be wary of the rules on places like EzineArticles too) as unlike EzineArticles.com your pages do not have to be approved before they are visible (for most sites). This means you don't get an article rejected and told why so you can correct it, often your page will just disappear, and then if they find you have multiple pages violating some part of their TOS they'll probably just shut your account down and delete all your pages‌ harsh but true. So go in knowing what to expect so you don't inadvertently break any of the rules and then everyone is happy. Web 2.0 sites are great because you can link to your site or your offers, and you can use them to get ranked in the search engines too because they are often authority sites with lots of ranking power too. In fact sometimes you will find Squidoo lenses and Hubpages ranking above articles from EzineArticles.com so over time you will learn which gets you the most traffic and the best rankings and you can then stick to that one and master it. As sleazy as it sounds though I would recommend creating multiple accounts and distributing your work between those accounts, even if you do everything right then sometimes a competitor might report your pages or something, and then all your work is in one account when it gets closed‌ Here are some web 2.0 sites that you might like to try: Squidoo.com Wordpress.com HubPages.com WetPaint.com ClearBlogs.com

You can also submit to some free ad sites like http://www.usfreeads.com/ – This is a free classified ad site that a lot of people use to put ads on which can also help to get good Google rankings. You need to target keywords that have at least 500 searches and less than 1,000 results. http://www.craigslist.org/ – You can also post one (no more or it may be removed) ad to CraigsList to get additional traffic / sales.

Backlinks One word of warning though, don't build all the links with the same title, Google likes to see variety, as a rule of thumb then only about 60% of your links should

be for that exact phrase, for the others then mix it up, use variations of the phrase, add words to it, or use 'click here', 'this article' - all the sort of things people would naturally use to link to a page. If your article is in the first 2 - 3 pages then build some more links! If it is further out than that then consider how much traffic it is supposed to have and think if it is worth the extra effort. Any article on the front page but not in spot #1 then build some more links to as well until it gets to the top! Drop any articles that don't seem to make much progress and concentrate on the ones that do as well as writing more of course!

Promote Each Article Article marketing promotion is easy if you know these article marketing tips. Learn the steps you need if you want to get traffic from articles here. Let’s do a quick overview… There are a few vital factors to getting your articles ranked well in the search engines. Probably the most important is keyword selection followed very closely by promotion. But let’s start at the basics with… Choosing The Right Keyword – The Key To Getting Articles Ranked

Keyword selection is the most important factor of anything when it comes to SEO. This is very true with article marketing. Specifically with articles you will use the keyword in the title. This is typically enough for articles even though it is still a good idea to use the keyword once or twice in the article. You want a high traffic keyword with low competition. The way you do this is by going to the Google keyword tool and typing in a word that you would like to write an article about. For example, ” article marketing.” Then you want to search by global monthly searches and start doing some more in-depth research.

I start at keywords around 2.5k global monthly searches and look for keywords that I would like to write an article about. Then I pick out keywords that are good and go over to Google and check the competition. What I look for is keywords that have less than 1,000 (the lower the better) search results when you type in the allintitle: search modifier. As you can see in the image below the search results for the term article marketing are 202,000 when you type allintitle: in from of it. That is way too many and you will never rank for the keyword.

Once I find a keyword with at least 300 global monthly searches and less then 1,000 search results with allintitle: there are a few more steps. Writing A Good Article – Write For The Reader But Understand WHY You Write The Article.

When writing articles it is important to produce quality information. Everything that is associated with your business represents you. So if you write a horrible article then you will be giving off a horrible image. So make sure that it is quality. As for constructing the article short punchy paragraphs that are scanner friendly are ideal. An introduction paragraph that grabs attention is also good. The idea is yo get people to read your article. You do this by hinting and the wonderful benefits they will discover by reading the article. For example you could say something like “This article will show you exactly how to get floods of traffic with article marketing and how to rank YOUR website higher in the search engines for long lasting results.” Anyone interested in web traffic will read that article. During the body of the article you want to really wow the reader. Give away your best information. Really focus on helping the reader and giving away your best information. Using short paragraphs and bullet points will help to get your article read.

After you have constructed the article the next part is to get the click. In the resource box you want to give the reader a reason to click your link. You want to put something like “Frustrated not getting enough traffic to your website? The above resource example empathizes with the reader and also gives them a big benefit to click through. I have found these to be two important keys to getting the click through with article marketing promotion. Another good way to increase clicks is to put a link in the body of the article. Make sure to use your keyword in the anchor text. This tip is difficult because all article directories have different rules. For example Ezine articles will not let you put in links above the flold. So you need to put it near the end of the article. Ether way I would suggest putting links to a related article of yours or on your website to increase CTR (click through rates). I have two more great tips for you. The first one is to not think when you write. Speed is important. Just go out and get your ideas down. It doesn’t need to be perfect although it needs to be high quality. Ether way you can condition yourself do to things fast and still create high quality content. This is a BIG key to success online because to really make it your going to need to create a lot of content. Many people fail because the don;t want to create content. But if you don’t provide value how can you ever expect someone to pay you for something! So do it quick and don’t think. Just let it flow. It might take some practice but just let it happen and don’t worry about things being too perfect. That is a big pit fall. My next big tip is to do everything twice. This really helps article marketing promotion. Hey, if it works once why not do it twice? I am telling you that once you have created and article the information is fresh in your mind so it is really easy to just write the same article again. The point here is that you can usually bust the second article saying basically the same thing in different wording in half the time. This can increase your productivity by 50%! So after you create an article just write the same-ish article again. This will double your content and it is really easy. I also want to mention that if you have problems writing or don’t know what to write you can use PLR articles or look at other articles online for ideas. Just go read some articles and then rewrite them (DON’T COPY). Just take all that

knowledge you learn and write your own version. Even go as far as to make it better. Every Article You Create Must Be Promoted – This Is Do OR Die

You can create 1,000 articles or you can promote 10 articles and get better results. The trick to getting real traffic from articles is automating the amount of backlinks and promotion you can get to an article. There are a few easy steps to do this. And within 5 minutes (or less) you can have your article rank dramatically higher and instantly leverage all your work 1,000 times at the click of the button. That is how you really get started. Here are the current tools I use but due to the changing nature of the internet they will surly be obsolete at one point. The point here is that you can quickly and easily automate getting some backlinks. For me I can do this in about 2 minutes or less and as I said it instantly leverages all my work by at least 1000%. First off I use the service Onlywire for social bookmarking. Every article I create gets bookmarked with Onlywire. It is pretty simple really. You just go and create some social accounts and enter it in. Then you press the Onlywire submit button and it will bookmark to all the places Side Note: Many social bookmarking accounts will have RSS feeds. Make sure to submit your RSS feeds with the free software for RSS submitting. After you submit your RSS feeds make sure to combine all your RSS feeds into one master feed and submit that as well. You can do this at RSS Mix.com or similar services. Secondly I create an RSS feed for my article. Currently I use my own RSS feed creator software but you can use a free service called Feedity. You simply go there and type in the URL of your article. It will then give you a unique RSS feed and you can use the free software for RSS submitting and submit that feed as well. I usually like to save my feeds in a text file because after I create all of my feeds I go over to RSS Mix and create a master feed and submit that as well. Doing these steps really can help your articles rank well. That is why it is quality over quantity. I mean yes you do want to create a lot of articles but every article needs to be promoted. So if you have some software that submits to hundreds of directories it would be worth while to promote your main articles with it‌ like an

ezine article. One article ranked in the top ten will get more traffic than 10 articles ranked in the top 100. Rinse, Repeat, And Cash In

Nothing really works online if you only do it once. To really make things happen you need to do things the right way and in massive quantity. The trick is that these things can be done quickly and still get amazing results. You can do this all in an hour or less. In fact I can write a 250 word article in less than 5 minutes. No joke. It is easy once you condition yourself. Then promotion takes another less than 5 minutes. So try to get to the point where you can create 5 articles in an hourish. I can guarantee you if you do and submit them to the leading directories and promote each one that with 3 hours of work a day you can get to $100 a day income. But there is just one more important thing to note about article marketing. The REAL reason your writing articles is… Articles Are Your SEO Bread And Butter – Don’t Link To An Affiliate Page – Link To A Landing Page

The thing about articles is most of them will not be read and you will get little direct traffic from them. But what you do get is a ton of heavy power backlinks. So point these to YOUR site. Don’t point directly to an affiliate offer. In my testing using articles to get my sites ranked high instead of direct affiliate links has again leveraged my work by around 1,000%. So the real reason your writing articles is to get YOUR site more traffic through natural referral resource box click through and then natural search engine traffic. From writing articles I find that about 90% of my traffic comes from search engines and another 10% from actual click through. When I pick an good keyword like I told you above I can usually get around 5 of the top 10 on Google. When that happens I get more like 70% of traffic from search engines and 30% from the click through.

This happens simply because on the article directories there are too many distractions. These sites can make hundreds of thousands of dollars a day in Adsence revenue so they are built to get the click to their ads and not yours. So the real benefit of article marketing is not the direct traffic but the powerful backlinks. So make sure that you have a landing page that is SEO’d and then you will notice your traffic increase quite a bit. It shows you more about getting traffic and how to optimize a landing page for SEO. Don’t write an article and hope it does well. Each article needs to be promoted. Luckily you can do this very easily. It is a three step process.

Step 1. Create OR submit your RSS feeds with an RSS feed submitter (you can use All Scoop if you do not have one – It’s Free and works) If your site does not have an RSS feed you need to create it. You can create an RSS feed at http://feedity.com/ Make sure to save all of your RSS feeds in a text file because at the end you will take all of your RSS feeds then combine then into one master feed with RSS Mix and submit that feed. It gives you a ton more backlinks and ranks your articles even better. Here are the RSS directories I recommend you use if you want more to use. Feedage Feedagg Feedraider Feedfury Goldenfeed

BadRSS Feedbase RSSmicro Technorati Icerocket

Step 2. Ping your content Sites to ping your content: Pingler Pingoat Pingomatic Feedshark

Step 3. Bookmark your content For social bookmarking, you can semi-automatic services like OnlyWire or SocialMarker. I highly recommend them since it will save you a lot of time. To super charge this also submit your bookmarking accounts RSS feeds. (very powerful.

Here’s a quick breakdown: 1.Submit articles to popular article directories. Make sure each article has high traffic and low competition 2. Submit your content to web 2.0 properties. 3.Promote all your content with pinging, bookmarking, and RSS submissions.
