SYNOPSIS A Star Wars prequel adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Board the Millennium Falcon for a series of daring escapades in a dangerous criminal underworld. Han Solo meets his mighty future co-pilot Chewbacca and encounters gambler Lando Calrissian in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes. BUZZ We really can’t wait for this one. Han Solo’s meeting with Chewbacca and Lando Calrissian is very exciting. This film has a heist feel to it and has been likened to Michael Mann’s HEAT as well as OCEAN’S ELEVEN. Looks like a lot of fun.
SPOTLIGHT The making of the film wasn’t plain sailing, with directors Phil Lord & Christopher Miller exiting the project at a very late stage. Apparently their improvisational comedy style didn’t go down very well with Disney Execs. Ron Howard came aboard to finish the film.
