Established in 2009, Theatre Re is a London-based international ensemble creating thought-provoking, tangible and poignant work that examines the fragile human condition.

Tom has just turned 55. As he dresses for his birthday party, tangled threads of disappearing memories spark him into life, unravelling as a tale of friendship, love and guilt. This ambitious project featuring actors and musicians has been created in collaboration with neuroscience professors and is the result of interviews and workshops with scientific organisations. This performance shines a light on issues around memory and offers a new perspective.

The world-renowned BalletBoyz return to the Connaught with their triumphant new show. Fourteen Days comprises of three brand new pieces and the return of an audience favourite. Famed choreographers Javier de Frutos, Craig Revel Horwood, Ivan Perez and Christopher Wheeldon were each teamed with a composer and given just fourteen days to create a brand new piece specifically for BalletBoyz. Each piece plays with the concept of balance and each choreographer has put their own stamp on BalletBoyz unique performance

In the current global scenario of division and intolerance, two women living on opposite sides of the world, but tied unconditionally to each other by their deep friendship and common ancestors, try to unearth what connects us despite our differences.

With a solid reputation of more than 20 years in physical theatre, the performers take the audience on a journey of poetic imagery, humour and immersive elements to travel through time and space, unveiling the layers of their personal stories and ancestral backgrounds, tracing a line from the personal to the universal in the attempt to tackle some vital contemporary questions about their common paths such as identity, roots, displacement, borders, and the concept of a 'home'.

2018 is a BIG year for circus! 250 years ago Philip Astley drew out a ring and went on to fill it with astonishing acts â&#x20AC;&#x201C; tumblers, horses, acrobats and clowns. He thereby created the first modern day circus. In 2018 the whole country will be celebrating this anniversary with fantastic circus events to astound and amaze.

What is contemporary circus I hear you cry!

Contemporary Circus retains the incredible skills with stunning tricks, amazing acrobatics, flying that will make you hold your breath and falls that will make you gasp. Add to this a strong narrative storytelling is key - and a mix of dance, martial arts, devised theatre, mime and Circus has changed and evolved over those sometimes puppetry. It is playful and experimental, it will surprise you, move 250 years and while traditional circus is you, thrill you. It is cool, very cool and you still thriving with incredible acrobatics, brilliant clowning (and thankfully less wild will love it. animals), Worthing's Summer of Circus focuses on the more recently developed contemporary circus and will host some of the best companies from across Europe in the 2018 programme.
