Studies have found that focusing on goals for 3 months at a time battles both procrastination and burnout. So you’ll stay motivated for Longer. Putting it all to good use All the planning in the world won’t do any good if it’s not used. This final step may be the most important one of all. Now that you’ve clarified you dreams, faced the worst case scenario, given them weight and importance with your “why,” made them easy to measure, and broken them down into little action steps, it’s time to place them in your life. While I’ve found the most satisfaction in focusing on one goal at a time. (I’d rather have completed 100% of 1 goal than 3% of 10 goals at the end of a week.) You must be honest with yourself about what’s going on in your life right now and how much you know in your heart you can focus on at once. Now pull out your smart phone calendar, planner calendar, desktop calendar or create a whole new calendar…whatever you use to put your appointments in… and make an appointment with your goal.
