The Yarraville Club will become known for being an entertainment and hospitality business, which is committed to its community. Creating and maintaining a entertainment and hospitality business which is community focused is achieved through the following values
1. Community Relations Position our Club as an intrinsic part of our community’s way of life. Improve the public awareness of the value of our Club and the contribution we make to our local community.
2. Corporate Governance A. Ensure the viability of our club for future prosperity by continually improving our Board and Senior Management’s education, competencies and systems to keep raising the standard of Board governance, credibility, professionalism and excellence.
B. Recognise that a well-governed and transparent board provides value to the Club’s brand and impacts productivity, financial prudency and, ultimately, the Club’s strategic success.
3. Clubhouse Business A. Maintain and grow a financially sustainable,
viable and efficient clubhouse business so it has the finance and facilities to support the Club’s strategic objectives without compromising a quality customer experience. B. Explore alternate revenue opportunities.
4. Workforce Development Build our region community’s capability by providing our workforce with secure employment, the best training and leadership linked to a culture that is focussed on creating positive customer experiences.
5. Marketing and Communication A. Drive marketing and communication to create a strong brand identity and guests as the friendly club of Yarraville for the Club that supports a membership culture.
B. Encourage action from our target markets by defining the needs our products and services can fulfil, developing products and services to meet member needs and communicating in a contemporary manner.
6. Information Communications Technology (ICT) A. Continually improve cost-effective ICT strategies that strengthen the efficiency of business processes, introduce better controls, greater accountability and improved decision-making.
B. Facilitate the sharing of information between staff, members and the community.
7. Safety and Security Care for the safety and security of our people and property.
8. Utilities and Natural Resources Responsibly and sustainably conduct our club business and to engender an environmental focus into everything we do.
9. Master Planning A. Facilitate the orderly and environmentally sensitive expansion and development of the club and its properties to improve the economic vitality of the organisation and provide high-quality and safe recreational facilities. B. Identify properties that are suitable for procurement and plan ahead for these opportunities.
