Doner Residence Marmol Radziner Truckee, California 2013

My time at Marmol Radziner was largely focused on working as a member of the design team for the Doner Residence: a custom vacation home within the mountains of Martis Camp in Truckee, California. I was tasked with drawing interior and exterior elevations, building details, and site conditions; managing and organizing the various construction document and bid drawing sets, material selection, and presentation drawings

367 Waverly Avenue James H. Baer Architect Bernard J. Doyle Architect Brooklyn, New York 2012

For this project, we were tasked with designing two additional residential floors to an existing grocery store in Brooklyn, New York. This job challenged our team, because we had to work with and comply with the demands of the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission. For this project, I was tasked with drawing and annotating the construction document set, building details, preparation of presentation and material sample boards for review from the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission, as well as construction observation.

115 St. James Place James H. Baer Architect Bernard J. Doyle Architect. Brooklyn, New York 2011

This project was an interior renovation and design for four, two bedroom apartments. I was added to this project to work on the construction documents and was in charge of drawing and annotating both the sections and floor plans for this project. In addition to the work I performed on the construction documents, I was also able to observe a large portion of the actual construction process.

Rock Creek Mausoleum The Catholic University of America Rock Creek Park, Washington DC Spring 2011

The project was to design a mausoleum in a personal location found within Rock Creek Park, Washington DC. It was important that this space contained qualities of intimacy and spiritual retreat for honoring the deceased. My goal was to keep the overall design of the structure simple, focusing on the approach and interaction of the mausoleum with the natural surrounding. Materiality and the transition from public to intimate space were important design aspects that I took into consideration for my mausoleum.

Urban Amphitheater The Catholic University of America Greenwich Village, NY Spring 2011

This studio challenged us to design a project through the explicit use of perspective drawings. Picking view ports around the site and drawing with pastels, I drew focusing on the emotions evoked from the site, shaping them into an architecture. The project was to design an urban amphitheater within Greenwich Village, New York City. I focused on designing a structure that framed the street and sidewalks, creating a space that allowed a user to observe the different aspects of everyday people as they walk pass. With respect to street performances and art, my structure serves the city by providing a public realm that promotes creativity and public exhibition; an important aspect of the history of Greenwich Village.

Home Library University of Cincinnati Spring 2014

This was a personal project I pursued to practice my abilities in 3D modeling and rendering. All furniture, accessories, and interior architecture was modeled in Rhino and rendered using V-Ray. Post production editing was done using Photoshop.

Before the Deluge University of Cincinnati Alphabet City, NY Fall 2014

Focusing on resiliency, this project explores strategies to help protect the city from the threat of natural hurricane and storm forces; flooding and the risks of rising sea levels. This design incorporates both natural and constructed wetlands as primary mitigation techniques to abate violent forces of storm surges and flooding. Public amenities are included on top of an elevated retaining wall a long the FDR Drive highway.

The wetland park can be used as a valuable educational asset to the network of surrounding schools. 1 Av [L]

Introducing a new ferry stop to this area, provides the park and the city with an additional entrance/exit point. Easy access to other methods of public transportation is important for site location.
