A DASH OF MACE is a composition for a sextet, which consists of the following instruments:
- clarinet
- 2 violins
- viola
- double bass
- piano
with a director.
(all play also some small percussion instruments and do theatrical actions)
the duration is about 16 minutes.
the piece was written in Madrid in 1997
it´s a commission by the Grupo Cosmos, directed by Carlos Galán
