november february march april may june july august september october After the time consuming and nerve wrecking photo book project last year, I promised myself to never do that again. Well, you know how it is: Things don’t look too bad after a fresh break. While flipping through my hard discs recently, I stumbled upon great stuff that never made it to the public. And I thought: Wow, what a pity to leave all nice shots rot as digital waste. Don’t get me wrong: I’m not the type of photographer who posts every detail of his life in digital communities. To me one single printed picture has a lot more lasting effect than a whole photo album on Facebook. The bottom line is: I’m a f… workaholic and I decided to create a special edition coffee table book called: „perspectives“. The content of what you’re holding in your hands is the essence of one year of traveling the world, riding ultimate trails, working my ass off and having a dirt load of fun. The new perspectives should reveal different styles of cycling how I personally see it. To create these new and exceptional perspectives, I focused more and more on an innovative and funny toy: My remote controlled, GPS assisted flying camera. Men need toys but this one really pimps-up my photo equipment for good. It’s a bit hard to carry at times, I mean, who carries a Helicopter, photo equipment and a Bike up a mountain just for a single shot? I do, but I think the result is well worth it. See to yourself! I’m very happy and admittedly a little proud to present my favorite shots of 2010 on 184 pages. PS: I would like this project to be understood as a tribute to our sport. It has no commercial background what so ever. With the free ads in this book I wish to thank customers and partners for the great collaboration in the past. Enjoy! 3
