60 Litre airtight storage container This is an extremely robust, high quality product manufactured in blue HDPE polyethylene ideal for the storage and transportation of either liquids or solids. On the under side of the lid there is a special gasket, therefore when the clamp is closed the container becomes airtight and waterproof keeping the contents dry and fresh also preventing any odours escaping. The lever clamp prevents pets and unwanted pests from accessing the contents and it is possible to lock the clamp with a small pad lock. The capacity is 60 litres of liquid when full and approximately 30kg – 32kg of dry food (dependant on the density). It has two foldable handles to enable easy movement and also has the capability of stacking 3 – 4 high as the base fits into the lid. N.B. With reference to food density, it should be noted for example; 25kg of light flakey feed will require a larger storage space than 25kg of heavy wholesome feed.
