Bass Fishing Boats Near Shore
Jim and I drove from Albany, NY to Lake George. We explored Prospect Mountain and Lake George Village. We drove in a rainstorm to Hague in the Adirondacks on Lake George. All rooms, even though it was still OFF SEASON, were expensive. I’d made reservations at The Hague Motel because it was on the lake and more reasonably priced. Several men were staying at the hotel–pre-fishing for an upcoming Bass Fishing Tournament. Each fisherman had a long heavy-duty extension cord running from the cottage or room to the trolling motor on his boat. We also learned that some men building a log home in the area were sharing a cottage there too (until the motel was booked for vacationers). Since the motel is owned and operated by one man, I was the only female on the premises.
