Marleena. is my first branding project, where I was asked to make a restaurant branding out of myself, based on my personality. The personality that I chose was fun, thus I ended up using vibrant colors and expressive patterns to show my (and this brand’s) fun side. Other than that, this brand has 3 keywords, which are fun, tropical, and flavorful.

Kembang Flowery Sorbet is a branding and packaging project for a sorbet made out of (edible) flowers, with ginger torch flower, an Indonesian flower, as the main ingredient. ‘Kembang’ in Indonesian means flower, which is the exact concept that me and my other 2 team members would like to give for this brand, a sorbet made especially with Indonesian flower as the core.
We made the packaging with hand-drawn watercolor flowers, giving out a delicate feel, yet we placed these flowers in a playful and lively way, thus resulting the personality of this brand, playful, feminine, and delicate. We made 3 types of packaging, the original one, Valentine, and Chinese New Year Edition, each with different flowers as a symbols for each seasons.

Well,come! is a project for a group of 2, which it demanded us to create a design related business, then designing the brand name, logo, and its speciality. My group decided to create a business that specializes in invitations, thus giving the name, Well,come! Invitation Specialist. The logo itself has a hand in it, inviting everyone to use our invitation service and another way to invite people to an event held by using our invitation. The base speciality of the invitations created by Well,come! is its usage of traditional and digital drawings and illustrations. It doesn’t have any range in designs and approaches, so we use vibrant colors with modern forms as the infographic and the logo, stating our invitations can be created with any designs and for any events necessary.

In this assignment, me and my group consisting of 5 people were tasked to rebrand the Museum Wayang (located in Kota Tua). As the team leader, I assign each members with their own jobdesks, where my own was to design the logo and the stationary that comes with it. The ‘new’ Museum Wayang has a more modern approach, using Arjuna as the face of the logo.

Arjuna is very known for his good and friendly character. By using his side view as the logo, our rebranding of Museum Wayang would like to show the new personality of this historical museum, which are friendly and welcoming, as well as good nature with educational approach. The colors that were used were contrast and vibrant, giving it the modern and youthful look, making Museum Wayang approachable to all ages, even to the young ones.

With the same team members for the Museum Wayang rebranding, this assignment also made us do a rebranding for a hospital named Pluit Hospital, or Rumah Sakit Pluit. The tasks are the same, to change the branding of this hospital and change its personality among the eyes of the citizen. To start with, the logo is consisted of several organic shapes stacked with one another, forming a hand with lifted thumb. The thumb itself shows the goal for Rumah Sakit Pluit, that it to be the best hospital and to be trusted by the people. It also shows the quality of the hospital, stating the services offered by Rumah Sakit Pluit are the best among other hospitals. The color blue lifted up the healthy and calming personality, with the organic shapes resembles blood cells.
