M
etamorphosis, a transformation from an invisible into a visible world. A shift of conditions, a conversion of shapes. Adaption, an assimilation at changed circumstances of the natural environment any self regulated system. The collection „adaptive metamorphosis“ takes these topics and links them to the human conditions and the resultant expression of posture. Humans have to assimilate and deal with every aspect that bothers and disturbs them. Some aspects are knowingly expressed while others are being tried to hide. Every time we shut ourself, we involuntary open an other side of us. As a result we have displacements, overlays, closure and opening, and with this a transformation of our posture. The collection „adaptive metamorphosis“ includes adaptable garments. At first sight the transformation isn‘t really noticeable and seems to be inexplicable. A slow transformation from a collar to a cowl, from short to long, from covered to uncovered, from folded to unfolded, from opened to closed or the other way round.

Menswear Project discovered between two worlds inspiration
I
was born on an street in China, on a street in the middle of nowhere, on a street that combines the mountains and the cities. On a street where passing cars raised up dust that told stories. Stories about my, to me unknown ancestors and how they lived, stories about the future how it seemed as vague as the sunlight that breaks in the swirled up dust. Peculiar mysterious sounds, hidden shapes slowly rising above an charming as well as perfectly staged play of colours burning into my spirit. It resembles a harmonious symphoniy that went right through me and manifests itself here and now in a composition wich combines the unknown ancestors with the future that seems so vague to me. A symphony that gave me the strength to accept my unknown ancestry as well as my unknown path to find myself and accept myself the way I am. It accompanies me from this day on, grows and develops itself to my concert, the concert of my life.
