This collection from MarMar Copenhagen is based on the idea of a child’s complete wardrobe. A multitude of basic and special garment combinations playfully achieved by free, natural choices. Inspired by magic chess games and decadent musketeers, every item has been designed with our usual attention to detail and fit. Familiar and trusted designs blend seamlessly with new, seasonal styles to form a modern collection ready for both party and play – for everyday life of children. A unique set of carefully chosen colours and prints catches the eye and hints at a modern take on the classic chessboard. Into this we mix the poetry of feathers, soft geometry and MarMar favorite: Leopard spots – still available in vital brown and gray, but also in new beautiful, seasonal shades. A cool skateboard print demystifies the perfect kickflip, accompanied by fantasy elephants and chess pieces. Once again, MarMar presents a deliberate and challenging selection of colours, designs and symbols like no other.

THROUGHOUT THE NEW COLLECTIONS YOU WILL ALSO FIND HINTS OF CIRCUS – AS ALWAYS. MARMAR FOUNDER MARLENE ANINE HOLMBOE IS AN ACCOMPLISHED CLOTHES DESIGNER. AFTER STUDIES OF FASHION AT THE DANISH DESIGN COLLEGE, SHE PROCEEDED TO DESIGN CHILDRENS WEAR FOR NUMEROUS BRANDS. AFTER THAT, THE FOUNDING OF MARMAR COPENHAGEN CAME NATURALLY. MARLENE IS ALSO MOTHER OF THREE CHILDREN.
