The Bayside and Kingston markets experienced a balanced 50/50 split in terms of being both a buyer’s and seller’s market during this quarter. This was a much healthier dynamic compared to the previous two years, which favoured sellers. Properties with only one or two interested buyers fetched fair and reasonable prices, while those with two to three buyers or more could command higher sale figures.
Looking ahead, interest rates are forecast to remain stable, however, stock levels will be the key driver, with the typical spring peak season likely to arrive early in mid-October. December is also shaping up to be an ideal time to buy with an influx of new listings. Overall, the outlook for the Bayside and Kingston markets are expected to remain sustainable and steady over the next year.
