me

What makes the world perfect to me is the fact that it is incoherent, complex, paradoxal and uncontrolable. Accepting the unexpected and understanding life not as a straight line but as a massive, tangled network is where my work wants to start and end.

I was born in Menorca 23 years ago and I was raised there until I decided to go to University at the age of 18. During these last 5 years I’ve mainly been living in Barcelona, where I’m coursing my bachelor degree. From January to July 2015 I coursed part of my studies abroad, in Melbourne, as part of an exchange programm. I’m a very active and energetic person which enjoys moving and discovering constantly. In progressive evolution and superation, I consider I work with motivation and interest, enjoying every moment of the process.

my work

A work seems interesting to me when it has something to say, when someone wants to shout out loud a status, whisper gently a thought or open a question. Bored of overproduction, repetition of the same patterns on new objects seems a dumb tendency for me.

freedom project << In a society where “respect for personal status has become a leading value I question it’s effects on individuals and their communities. I believe we are burdened by the individual achievements that society demands from us. Which on its turn results in a inevitable competitive environment in which there is no space for a healthy collaborative community. >> - Sander Wassink

How can a material as humble as broken briks can work as a comfortable chair? What gives value to a chair? What value does design have?
