How much higher is ‘HIGH’ ?

By Martin Gondra and Alfredo Peñalosa

As publisher, this is the one question I keep on asking myself. And that’s the reason why we will never stop raising the bar in every way possible, no matter the cost. After all, we represent some very amazing luxury brands -both in retail as well as in professional services-. No need to ellaborate on this: it’s in your hands.

Now let’s talk style. In fashion photography, there should be no boundaries, there should be no limits to creativity. If the sky is the limit, well, on the right page you have it. The next step up will be talking to SpaceX -and we probably will. And lastly, check if The Devil still Wears Prada.

I definitely think there is much more than just finding beautiful models, great designs, exquisite jewelry, breathtaking locations, and cool cars, yachts, or jets -although we definitely look for all of them. There is an absolute craving to reach far beyond “The Edge”. We don’t care to be “edgy”. Everyone else is, without making much of an effort. “The 10X WOW factor” -for lack of a better expression- is the bare minimum we can settle for. And I think we have accomplished that plenty of times. Let’s remember some of them, although as I review these images, I can see how primitive we are compared to what’s coming next.

LUXCIOR is -just like Houston- all about diversity.

It’s significant that the same year we launched LUXCIOR (2013), Houston was named the most cosmopolitan city in the nation, leaving New York behind to #2, to this day.

We believe our region’s biggest asset is its diversity. So we will never stop highlighting the beauty of people from all over the world to enrich our city with their amazing cultures.

14 PAGES OF LUXCIOR’S 10 YEARS OF ICONIC PHOTOGRAPHY

“The name is Bond... James Bond“

There is no limit as to what we are ready to do, and where we are ready to go to get the photo we are looking for.

2,000 feet above the clouds? Not a problem. If we conceived the theme, we will figure out the way to execute it. Even if -like in this case- we have to get a jet to get us up in the air, and professional skydivers to also play the role of models.

Fortunately, Houstonians are always so cooperative and so much fun to work with!

In this photo, part of a great LUXCIOR release, we are on a mission to save Houston, 13,000 feet above Pearland. Designs from Top Man, Top Shop.
