Catalogue Design and Production The majority of catalogue artwork I’ve designed and produced was whilst working for The Nbrown group in Manchester. I produced artwork for many

of there larger titles such as Simply Be and JD Williams, but also design and produced smaller publications such as Julipa and Velvet affair. This would typically involve producing concept work, presenting concepts and negotiating the use of fonts, page density and a colour pallet. Once approved, artwork was produced, approved and packaged ready for sending to Repro.

CATALOGUE DESIGN JULIPA CHRISTMAS I was tasked with designing and producing a Christmas book loosely based on the 2015 Julipa core winter book. This publication focused on party and festive wear. The clothing range, shot selection and style emphasized this and stood it apart from other Julipa publications.

Leaflet Design As with my catalogue artwork the majority of leaflet artwork was produced was whilst working for Nbrown. Most of these we follow up sales leaflets that were sent to the customer following

the main season fashion catalogue, but with an emphasis on Value. Some leaflets such as Simplybe party and Velvet Affair offered scope for more creativity and were less strictly styled on their parent book. I’ve also produced several leaflets on a freelance basis for local organisation and charities, such as the Hummingbird academy.

OUR HONEYS Raw honey is the most original sweet liquid that honeybees produce from the concentrated nectar of flowers. Collected straight from the extractor; it is totally unheated, unpasteurized, unprocessed honey. An alkaline-forming food, this type of honey contains ingredients similar to those found in fruits, which become alkaline in the digestive system. It doesn’t ferment in the stomach and it can be used to counteract acid indigestion.

LOCALLY PRODUCED HONEY Urban honey is produced from nectar harvested form a wide variety of plants trees and flowers. We have 3 productive hives situalted in the Fallowfield subburb of Manchester. We think our bees regularly gather nectar from a 2-3 mile radious of our hive but can travel as for a 5-6 miles. This takes in many of the Fruit trees of the gardens, medows & mature parks of south manchester.

< SPRING HONEY Mother nature’s first offering for the bees is Pussy Willow which is found in the hedgerows and road side verges. Pussy Willow is very important to our bees and once we see the pollen coming in we know the season has really started.

HOW TO GET OUR HONEY SUMMER HONEY >

Our bees forage on the wild flowers of the endless hedgerows and grazing fields. Our most important summer flowers are white clover and brambles. Other significant contributions come from rosebay willow herb, thistles and buddleia.

Tower, Haden and the Hi-tech. I was required to produce new branding and packaging concept and deliver print ready artwork to overseas repro houses. Most of this artwork was either produced to a die-line cuter, printing onto folded cardboard or a flat card for insertion into a blister pack.

PACKAGING DESIGN When Salton Europe acquired the Haden brand I was asked to re-brand and re-design all packaging and marketing materials. I directed new photography throughout the range to inject a sense of lifestyle.

I have gained considerable experience over the last 15 years in both fashion and still life art direction. It is generally the most enjoyable and most demanding aspect of my profession. At Salton Europe the emphasis was on Still
