DEAR USERS, FRIENDS, ALLIES AND BUSINESS PARTNERS, Thirty-five years is quite a milestone. It is a milestone defined by hopes, challenges, struggles, investments, failures and successes. To look into the future, we must learn from the past. For many, 35 years may seem like ages. One may say that it is quite a feat. I wonâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t deny it. However, I am still wondering how much further we can get, how many new challenges and undiscovered lands are still waiting ahead of us. We canâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t rest on our laurels. This thirty-five year milestone is a call to move on. We are talking about the journey to perfection. Perfection is the goal that we are aiming at, although we know that perfection is unattainable. It's something that we will always aim for. Frankly, it's the best thing about it. You can always be better, and there is always room for improvement. That's why, after all, journey is the keyword in our 35th anniversary motto. Something that at the beginning seemed to be merely a local business has developed into an international company. A sole trader business evolved into a family business, actively managed by the next family generation. PAWEŁ SUPERNAT

Paweł, one of the founders of Survivaltech.pl, the largest survival company in Poland, represents so called old school. In 1988, he joined scouts where for over 20 years he learned everything about forest, trekking or bushcraft. He educated several generations of younger scouts. These were great years for developing and teaching how to use equipment because at that time almost no bushcraft or survival equipment was available in Europe. So he sew his own clothes, backpacks, pouches, or even boots or sleeping bags. The time in scouts led to his service in the 1st Special Commando Regiment. He also served in pro-defense organization as instructor, managed a scouting centre and worked in one of the major outdoor stores. He hiked across all Polish mountains, and explored caves. He imported specialist military, tactical and outdoor clothes and knives of top western brands to the Polish market and was responsible for their testing, assessment and promotion. In 2010, together with his friend he launched Survivaltech.pl brand focused on survival and bushcraft trainings and development of outdoor equipment. He created his own training program that proved to be very popular. He carried out trainings for military forces (including special forces), variety of organizations and companies. He is a designer of many popular products.

GRZEGORZ URBAŃSKI

Reserve chief warrant officer, former special forces member with over 20-year long military experience. He enlisted in 1992 and began his military career assigned to the 62nd Special Company. After finishing noncommissioned officer school in 1994 he was assigned to the 1st Special Commando Regiment. His Last 7 years of service he spent in GROM. He has been numerous on mission abroad, including deployments to Lebanon, Iraq and three tours in Afghanistan. He is a parachutist instructor, senior combat diver and paramedic. He was discharged from military forces in 2011. He has instructed several courses for soldiers going to Afghanistan. He also trained soldiers in survival in diverse climate conditions and rough terrain in extreme climate. He took part in developing training programs for military forces. He is an experienced instructor in sport and recreation, in survival, rock climbing, self defense and shooting. In 2013, he started his own company, ŻWIRU TEAM, that provides specialist training and organizes adventure events. The company organized camps and courses for police and military schools. During his career in ŻWIRU TEAM, he provided course instruction for guards of oil installations; and also coordinated security for those installations. His ŻWIRU TEAM cooperates with numerous companies, schools and army.

PIOTR SIEGIEŃCZUK

Designer and maker of tactical gear. He made his first steps as a designer in mid 2000's drawing and making tactical gear for his own use. Soon after he decided to combine his passion with career, first in his own company in which he was designing and making custom tactical gear for most demanding users, including worlds top special forces operators. Very time soon, he decided to join the Helikon-Tex R&D team, which finally become his main focus as a designer. Author and co-author of many successful projects of clothing, backpacks, vests/plate carriers/ chest rigs, battle belts, pouches or other tactical equipment. Thanks to many years of practical experience, he has huge knowledge not only in designing, types and models of equipment, but also in fabrics, hardware and narrow goods. He is also a specialist in sewing or modern and innovative methods used in making this kind of products, like laser cutting, fabric lamination or ultrasonic bonding etc. In his after work life he is a tactical and competition shooter, mainly in dynamic and 3gun competitions, firearms owner and enthusiast, author of numerous articles in gun magazines, but also person with many other passions like modern guns, model making, drawing and tattooing.

MARCIN JĘDRZEJCZAK

Marcin Jędrzejczak has been into shooting for over 15 years. He has gained his experience mainly in his everyday work with weapons and during trainings with several instructors in Poland and abroad, which finally led him to his present job as a shooting instructor. He specializes in firearms combat, but not only in shooting, but the whole spectrum of using firearms, from weapon selection, handling through its use. Marcin launched his own company called Streetsmart that provides complex combat trainings. Streetsmart is a continuous study of practical use of weapons in everyday defense, consulting selection of weapons, equipment and training techniques. He contributes his experience into the products that were created in cooperation with Helikon-Tex company and some other anonymous persons. Stay safe and always keep your advantage!

EDC Backpacks® are part of the whole range of packs designed for every days use – in any place or situation. The packs are lightweight and event that they are simple in design, they are very versatile. Both models have front pockets that are compatible with Versatile Insert System with the possibility of mounting Insert Panel in the main compartment. EDC Backpack® is made of 500D Cordura® with additional MOLLE/PALS system on it's surface for mounting pouches etc. On front there is large velcro loop panel for easy personalization. Additionally, on front there is shock-cord section that allows you to carry rolled jacket or other light items. Ultralight version of EDC Backpack®. Instead of 500D Cordura® fabric, the pack is made of 210D nylon rip-stop. To even more reduce the weight of the pack it was stripped down of MOLLE/PALS webbing. Cordura® is one of the most known fabric brands in the world. Originally developed as a type of rayon during the World War II, was transferred as a nylon product in late 60's. By 1980 over 40% of luggage were made of Cordura® fabric. Made of polyamide 6.6 textured yarns offers very high durability, that is about 2 times more abrasion resistant then standard nylon. Thanks to that Cordura® soon became the most common used fabric for all military equipment, first in it's 1000D version, and then in lighter 500D or even 330D. 143
