Foreword The island has a lepidoptarium, a terrarium, and a palladium that would showcase butterflies and reptiles in a sustainable habitat. The island has its aviary that would showcase rare bird species, and a mini zoo that would showcase wild life. All of these would provide a good educational experience for children and the entire family who lives in a challenging geography of the desert.
Hope Island is a franchise concept from the ideas of HE Khaled Siddei Mohamed Sameea Al Asmani. It is the visionary outlook of Khaled to create a space that would support his life work in relation to science and technology, arts and culture, natural history, education, sustainability, and innovation. The theme of the island centers on the storyline of a village attacked by dinosaurs. This attack caused destruction of the village and the its thriving community. The proposed utilization of the island focuses on rebuilding the island after such destruction.
The larger part of the island is an area intended for open air events such as trade fair, festivals, and beach sports activities. The island has a kayak and cable wake board area on the southwest section. There is also an area for camping and glamping. Upside down houses are also for rent as resorts or for other businesses that conforms with the objectives of the island. One of the upside down houses is a wine cellar where guests can enjoy high quality wine, cheese, and cold cuts.
Visitors of the island has a designated parking area outside the island. The island offers a transportation from the parking to the island. The island is accessible by a bridge wherein an interesting shop is located under the bridge.
On the western part of the island, there are sunset houses. In Khaled’s storyline of the island, these are the remnants of houses built by the island dwellers when they escaped the dinosaurs. The sunset house provides a beautiful view of the sunset in Abu Dhabi. Each house is provided with a lower space for cooking and preparing food, especially barbecue. The upper part of the house provides a comfortable space suitable for the family.
The island gate is inspired by Mayan architecture. This imposing gate gives the feeling that one is about to enter a different world. The destruction of the island is Khaled's metaphor on the negative practices of humans in general that leads to the destruction of the earth and its inhabitants. It is with human greed that we can be compared to beastly dinosaurs. Actual dinosaur bones and fossils are displayed in the island's natural history museum for educational purposes. Khaled believes that in looking at the actual remains of the past that we can actually learn to look better at the present and the future.
The Dhow boat area. When the islanders were devastated by the dinosaur attacks, nearby villages came to help. These Dhow boats were the remains of the transportation of the Arab people that came to help the islanders. The Dhow boats are now being re-purposed as floating restaurant and café.
In a post-apocalyptic setting, Khaled attempts to show a solution in rebuilding a community.
The island boasts a 300-meter beach front with areas for beach sports such as beach volleyball and frisbee. The beach has several juice bar that serves drinks and snack. There are also play pen areas for children.
There are floating gazebos in the island which were remnant of the houses built by the islanders in escaping the dinosaurs. These floating gazebos are now being repurposed as floating restaurants. The entire island is being served by Art House Café which located in at least 6 locations in the island.
At the seaside of the island, Khaled plans to build a long network of artificial reef that would increase the fish population within the area. The artificial coral reel was designed by one of his fellow Emirati. With the increase in fish population, fishing tourism can be adopted in the island.
The island has a sustainability area where in the island produces the basic things required by its inhabitants: power, water, and food. The island uses alternative source of energy such as the commonly used solar panels and wind turbines. The island is also prepared in utilizing a scaled hydrogen power station. The island produces its own healthy and potable water through its atmospheric water generators which turn air into water.

The island turns into a beach club starting at 9PM, wherein guest can enjoy the island night party.
Khaled's vision and ideas of the island is the pinnacle of Emirati's innovative and inventive mind. It is seemingly out of the ordinary, but it presents a deeper message that we should support and build. The proposed utilization of the island is the new dawn of Hope from its metaphorical destruction.
The village area is where the ground zero of the dinosaur attack. At least 40-45 life size dinosaurs on a village with upside down houses are the main attraction of the island. This includes a 9 meter high rock cliff with a dinosaur nest, and a flying dinosaur. These are is also decorated with meteorite displays. Under the huge dinosaurs are tables intended for children birthday party or simply for family picnic. This gives the guest a unique experience as they are surrounded with huge and scary dinosaurs.

The upside down houses are being repurposed as offices for rent, and island resort inn. These houses are also intended for long term lease for those who wanted to stay longer in the island. On the northwestern part of the island, there are more floating restaurants. These part gives a view of the wider sea view. On the eastern side of the island are floating prayer rooms. This part of the island is suitable for silent prayer times. On the southeast inner section of the village is an artist village. These houses artist residents of the island. The lower part of the house is a space for the artist to paint and display their artworks for sell. It is also a place for them to give their workshops. Artist residents of the island may also use the entire island for their artistic installations. On the outer southeast section of the island is the sports club. This features a sustainable gym that uses alternative equipment such as wood, ropes, tires, concrete, and water. On the water are floating tennis padel courts. Beside the tennis padel courts are floating spa and massage room to relax the guest after their intense workout or just to rejuvenate themselves. The island also features a 20 room medical facility intended for special therapy. This therapy includes hydrogen infused water which is very much beneficial to one's health. The island also has a 60-meter long underwater tunnel which can serve as an entrance or exit. It is connected on the designated parking lot of the island. Khaled thinks of this as a philosophical role reversal, wherein the fish would look at the people passing through the tunnel as if they are looking at a human aquarium.

Administration Building The Administration Building will be the main offices for the management. It will also include security/police office in monitoring the safety and operation of the entire island.

The island transportation hub. Between the Administration building and the EMAG MPH is a parking lot and transportation hub. Aside from the Golf cart, bicylcles are also available in the island as a means of transportation.

EMAG MPH (Multipurpose Hall) is an area for indoor activities. It houses the island’s Natural History Museum which showcases dinosaur bones, fossils, and meteorites as permanent display. This building also functions as art gallery, and enclosed area for symposium, trade fair, and exhibitions.
