A Lesson Learned While On Vacation

A LESSON LEARNED

How much encouragement do you need? From day to day you see the same scenario play out before your very eyes. What are you looking for? You may say at least something different. Well why not make your plants to be different, with a change you become enriched. This weekend we took a road trip we were laughing, telling stories about the past, sure this was encouraging, "it was a change from everyday life." But no sooner than we got away "humdrum" it hit us that being black in America exist everywhere.

Surprise Encounter

"Don't get me wrong, we had a great time and a new experience leaving from Savannah Georgia driving slightly north to Hilton-Head South Carolina. The area is beautiful, it certainly put my mind at ease.

We dined at Dockside a local restaurant dinner was scrumptious. You would think all of this would last at least for a couple days, after all, "isn't this what people expect from a vacation?

Before, leaving for home ( Atlanta Georgia) hotel management called the police on us for a matter that had already been taken care of (a late check out) something for an eight-year-old to watch. A scene that could have gotten out of hand ended peacefully "we left. "After checking the time it was 12:59 well within check time."

Why All The Drama

That made me realize "we are all wonderfully made" we do not have to engage in an argument until it turns into a fight. "Try using our time looking around for the beauty in our surroundings and each other."

Strangely two days later I forgot all about the encounter all I remembered was walking out into the horizon in Hilton Head South Carolina seeing the sunset it was truly beautiful.
