A traditional Seat Assignment Design a chair that embodies the tradition or cultural events from your country. Materials for manufacturing are unspecified.
Traditon The typical Swiss milking stool, which had its origins between 1820 and 1830, is a low, usually one-legged (later three-legged) stool with a flat seat in the shape of a circle, used by a person when milking a cow. Since both hands were needed for the process of milking and the person often had to change position a leather strap was usually belt around the hips to be able to move from one cow to the other. The major material of this stool was mostly wood or steel. With the introduction of the milking parlor the mliking stool became an unnecessary tool.

Perspective Drawing
My idea was to turn the milking chair into a contemporary gardening chair used when weeding the garden, having more comfort and mobility at the same time so that the user can work in the garden over a longer period of time. The problem of sitting down, bending over and getting up again will be gone
Polycarbonat as major structure material: high rigidity, fracture-proof, scratch-free, low weight, thermostability and transparency
Also Polycarbonate can look beautifully with the interaction of light but as a material it will still be nonsensitive to the rays of light
Inspired by the Swiss flowers Enzian (in English „gentian“) and Edelweiss as well as Shiro Kuramata´s „Miss Blanche“ chair, synthetic flowers will be placed inside the plastic to underline the connection to nature
To make the object lighter the polycarbonate base will be hollow
The lower base will be framed in rust-proof steel and adjusted with screws
No arm or backrest to provide more mobility and flexibility
Belt will stay so that if the user´s hands are dirty he/ she will not need to touch the chair in order to be able to move

The belt will be made out of waterproofed rubber and has a length of 130 cm, width of 3.5 cm and thickness of 0.4 cm
Technical Specifications
A thick (6cm) polycarbonate seat will be used in order to get the highest stability possible Top View

Base
Polycarbonate will first be welded to get the right structure. To then join the base with the seat mortise and tenon joinery will be used; the base will act as our tenon and the seat will act as our mortise. To get perfect stability the parts will then be glued
