SWATCH BOOK Chapter 1
The following are the primar� colours of the ILe Nigeria collection used in my tex�ile swatches. This swatchbook contains a mix��re of knitted tex�iles and fabric tex�iles created from ex�erimentation.

Technique: The loop swatch 2. Partial knit technique on domestic knit machine. Gauge: Fine Tension: 6 Yarn: 1ply red merino lambswool, and 1ply bitanny cotton orange cotton.
Technique: The macrame loop swatch. Partial knit domestic machine with semi circle macreme. Gauge: Medium Tension: 5 Yarn: 1ply blue merino lambswool, and 1mm silk slub cord for macreme fringing
Technique: The loops and jersey swatch. Partial knit and jersey stitch combination on hand flat knit machine Gauge: Fine Tension: 6 Yarn: 1ply red cotton , and 1ply turquoise blue cotton.

These are the primar� colours for the Ile Nigeria which was used to create my digital printed tex�iles. The colours have been used in different shades of the colours shown. All fabric swatches have been printed each from british company Fashion For�ula who are based in nor�h west London.
