I am Maryam Ramezani. Graduated in Architecture from Rasam University in Karaj, Iran. The reason for choosing this field of study in the last few years is a reaction to my childhood memories when my intense interest in drawing and designing was a suitable platform and became a background for that. I barely can remember from the time when I was 6 or 7 to not build a house with mud and wood while I was playing a game in our courtyard and it was the most pleasure of all. As I grew up, this enthusiasm takes a new color and I gradually concluded that architecture is the merely thing that can fulfil all of my interests. I graduated from the field of architectural drawing in high school and after finishing it, cause I was not eligible to continue my studies due to my financial problems I obliged to work in an architectural firm as an apprentice, so I learned a lot and gained great experiences which led to promote my position as a lead designer of residential project plans in the office. After I earned adequate money for continuing my studies, I started to study architecture in college and bring that on till I graduated in bachelor's degree. Whilst studying at the university, I became acquainted with different architectural paradigms and I became aware of my interest in designing with the traditional Persian architecture method since this approach simultaneously look upon on the structure, facade, material, function, and etc., and also it has the most complicated geometries within its aesthetics. But it was not satisfy me entirely and I did not like to be a mimic. I realize that applying the traditional architecture method is not the only answer for today’ s architectural concerns, so I tried to test a combination of this method with modern procedures such as Zero-energy buildings and Social Housing.

Multi-purpose design for housing, recreation and commerce in a space in addition to the city's interaction with the project has many benefits. Residential complexes in this environment can independently provide many of their basic needs. Both in terms of welfare and energy saving, helping to reduce traffic loads, etc. Traditional market design, with 40 commercial units with a variety of net area in design. The project includes the design of a traditional chambers straight in a line with the main market, a ground floor in the form of a commercial passage, a service area such as: parking, restaurant, restrooms and etc. The aim of this projects is to create a self-sufficient building for its users by using of renewable energies in nature (a combination of tradition and technology) as well as having an open and accessible public site (green space and recreational facilities) for the city to interact with the existing project. 2. Describing the design approach and concepts: Zero-energy architecture: In this method natural energies are restrained and used as their accurate state in buildings. To achieving such an enormous goal we should use recyclable and bio-materials and those which performed in green buildings. In this case we may can use rural materials in areas which has potentials in their soils or anything can fulfil our needs. Also this kind of a building should be located where it has an easy access to public transportation. It is believed that in this approach the building is going to be designed to gain optimize sunlight in order to the reach the maximum use of natural light and the acquisition of free energy. Also, the importance of this kind of construction may have provide a way for nature to enter through buildings which of course is a conflict with employer and the market but, it is the most economical way of architectural thinking ultimately.

The idea of zero-energy buildings is to fulfil the energy needs of the present century, and this idea is about resolving energy concerns in the present era, and in fact, a zero-energy building, neutral energy building and an energy-independent building is an innovative idea which human beings have been dreaming for centuries, and has been able to reach that in some particular with modern technology in recent years.

In critical situations after the earthquake and in a status where many people have lost their shelters, communications systems is interrupted, urban infrastructure has fundamental difficulties, and the city is drowned in tears, fume and devastation it is crucial to install shelters for them as soon as possible. The project has been designed with the possibility of maximum extensions with minimum cost in the site and also the probability of setting up units both on flat surfaces and slopes simultaneously. Efforts to improve the quality of lifestyle of homeless persons by fabricating private fields and creating multi-functional spaces and, on the other hand, assembling the section into the project by the user and granting them the freedom to act to determine the number and location of openings and etc. are the main ideas of the design which generates life expectancy and tomorrow perspectives in the sufferers. 

Tehrans Autism Center (2nd Sem. of 2017)

MARYAM RAMEZANI Maryamiii.ramezani@gmail.com |ARCHITECTURE

Autism with the definition of “ Self-awareness” cannot just be called a disease, but it could be a kind of lifestyle. It is a challenge for all the matters that we are dealing with in architecture and practicing during education. Always designs [here architecture], unlike our imagination, are formed for the minority of the community and not for the majority; the majority includes all people with all their shortcomings [in our opinion]. During the design process, the project pursued two goals: first, finding a solution for designing a suitable space and responding to the different space needs of the children of the autistic spectrum, and, secondly, creating a social context for the interaction of the community with these children, and I believe that the saving mission of architecture in the second part was more effective. Initially, it seemed that the project was merely a medical treatment, but after the project studies, the result turned into a kind of culturaleducational center. All parts of the design process and even the feasibility study followed the following seven principles: Acoustics, Spatial Sequencing, Freedom, Classification, Transition, Sensational Zoning, and Security. The proposed land for this project was divided into two sections by a road that is passed through the land: One half of the land turned into a place for children's homes, a library and a parking lot, and

the other half shaped a gardening area which provided the training spaces for classes, workshops and sports halls. A cycling path is designed around the two proposed segments of the land to meet the needs of the neighborhood and to establish a link between the two segments and also more connection with the environmental context. The feasibility plan and layout design in this project seek to create a dynamic space that has a good connection with the community, and a suitable place for the autistic children to interact with their outside world which is an important consideration for this group of our community.

Designing a Recreational Commercial Complex (with social housing)

(1st Sem. of 2017)

The summarizes the available evidence of beneficial effects of urban green spaces, such as improved mental health, reduced cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, obesity and risk of type 2 diabetes, and improved pregnancy outcomes. Mechanisms leading to these health benefits include psychological relaxation and stress alleviation, increased physical activity, reduced exposure to air pollutants, noise and excess heat. Characteristics of urban green spaces that are associated with specific mechanisms leading to health benefits, and measures or indicators of green space availability, accessibility and use that have been used in previous surveys are discussed from the perspective of their public health relevance and applicability for monitoring progress towards goals set in international 

Considering the social housing approach, design of the green space also has the principles of design for example:

The effect of the green space in Older adults lif. A positive relationship between the amount of green space and self reported health in senior adults was demonstrated in the iran. The beneficial effect of green space was stronger in senior citizens and in housewives than in the general population, perhaps due to these groups greater dependence on the local living environment. Toussaint et al. (2017) explored the role of green spaces in sleep deficiency and found a stronger protective effect for people aged 65 and older, compared to younger adults. Sedentary behaviour is an important health hazard in older adults, who are often the most sedentary segment of society. A recent systematic review found that, when measured objectively, 67% of adults aged 60 years and over spent more than 8.5 hours of their waking day sedentary (Harvey et al.,2013). Evidence of beneficial effects of green spaces on physical activity in individuals aged 60 years or older is summarized by Broekhuizen et al. (2013). Older adults living in inner city neighbourhoods also benefit from the presence and use of green.

Existing circumstances of the site area: Since the site is located in the city of Karaj in Alborz province, the design of this project could take advantages of the variety of factors such as climate, urban structure, culture, needs of the domestic people and site opportunities such as Fateh garden. Climatology: Humid, sub-humid to the semi-arid desert. Structure of the city: Generally old and mostly is being renovated. People's requirements: Due to the lack of enough such buildings, a comprehensive master plan is required. Traditions and cultures: Mix of different ethnic groups and segmentation between them as a result of ethical crimes and violence. Cubism style: Volume ism or cubism is one of the artistic styles. Cubism emerged as a serious style in painting and, to a lesser extent, in sculpture, which was one of the innovations of Western art. Cubism is a style that a painter portrays with geometric forms and fades shadows in his work. Cubism style tries to show all the visible and invisible aspects of a phenomenon and subject simultaneously in the painting. That's why the cubism painting is abstract and far from real. Cubism is the art of creating the abstract forms of 3D objects on two-dimensional surfaces. An artist who works in this style shows the multidimensional objects with the help of the complex and curved geometric shapes. For example, a cubist artist may draw a portrait in a way that the eyes are looking toward the observer while the person's nose may be facing the other way. Many artists such as Pablo Picasso, Braque, Fernand Leger and Francis Picabia used the basic principles of cubism in their artworks.

Designing a complex with variety in the measurement of designing the units. This project includes designing some units for social interaction among users, some units for training, and also designing galleries and service parts consisting parking, restaurant, restrooms and so on. The purpose of this project is to create an atmosphere with community architecture approach, so that it can have a significant use for the users of the complex. It also aims to have an open and available site (green belt and entertainment centres) for public leading to an interaction between the city and the project. 2. Explaining the approach and definitions of designing: Community Architecture Attending to the approach of community architecture in recent years, especially in developing countries, has led to changes in participatory patterns in architecture. With correct observation and analysis, this movement has tried to reduce the impact of incorrect approaches, and is aiming to increase the quality of the artificial areas through the societies' understanding, values and requires.

The (Community Architecture) concept has been concerned as the same concept as (Social Architecture) and (Participatory Architecture), and they are mostly called as (Participatory Architecture). However, in subjects such as attending the users, the relationship between the technician and the user, scale, place and the use of the project and the style of the architecture, etc. the community architecture is different from the other participatory aoproaches of architecture. Regarding the style of architecture, the community architecture considers the modern nativeism and regionalism. Considering the level and type of participation, the community architecture is different from social architecture and participatory architecture, in a way that it is mostly based on beliefs, values and common community needs which turn to reality through the comprehension of behavioural patterns in a society with certain features and leaning on the community feelings. The design of the recreational site, which has tried to create gardens in areas at different altitude levels, has created a sports and tourism center and the site has been integrated with the city and not separated. The project includes lands and sports halls, recreational and service centers. The main objective of this project is to protect the environment by creating green spaces, and to some extent preventing further air pollution. Describing the design approach and concepts: Green Architecture:Green Architecture is a "Sustainable Architecture"; it describes architectural design techniques that are in line with environmental attitudes and are shaped by the idea of respect for nature. Green architecture is not a new trend, as it has been fundamentally present in ancient civilizations and traditional architecture, including the traditional architecture of Iran. Architectural sustainability and green architecture examples include: Use of waste and wastewater for irrigation of green spaces. Design and construction
