Mary Helen is a creative fashion brand based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our collection of age appropriate, girls clothing is created in-house, and designed to make girls feel strong, beautiful and confident. Imagination runs free in the Mary Helen studio. Not only is it where our collections come to life, it’s also a space for kids of all ages to explore the world of design, fashion, sewing and creativity. quick camp facts o Camp runs four days (generally Monday-Thursday) and has a morning and afternoon session. The morning session typically runs from 9-1 and the afternoon from 1:30-5:30 o Camp is designed for all skill levels and is targeted for kids age 7-12 o The tuition for camp is $375 and includes all supplies including a sketchbook, camp t-shirt, tote bag and sewing kit o Each participant will get to design and sew their own pair of shorts or skirt which they will get to model in a fashion show for family members on the last day of camp.
what is mary helen fashion sewing camp? Mary Helen Fashion Sewing Camp is a four day adventure where kids get to be fashion designers! Throughout the week, we’ll teach them all about the fashion design process, from inspiration boards and sketching, to cutting and sewing actual garments. The week concludes with a friends and family fashion show for the campers to showcase their designs.
why should I host camp? Camp is an exciting week for more then just the campers! As a host you’ll be able to engage with your community in a new way and bring new and loyal customers into your boutique all week. You’ll also have the option of having an exclusive Mary Helen trunk show throughout the week which includes special looks from our clothing collection as well as sewing patterns and supplies.

as a host, what do I need to do? provide space
A 12’ X 12’ space (or about the equivalent square footage) for us to set up in during the week of camp. This can be in a separate room or right on the floor, we promise we’ll be tidy throughout the week and you won’t know we’ve been there when we leave. Not sure you have enough space? Contact us and we’ll figure out if there’s a way to make it work!
promote camp
We’ll send you physical marketing materials for camp and give you access to our host’s only online portal where you can download images and videos to deck out your social media. Additionally we’ll support you with tips and tricks for promoting camp successfully.
meet registration quota
Quota is 20 campers, an average of 10 in each session; morning and afternoon. We’ll facilitate registrations through our website so you won’t have to handle any payment or registration forms and we’ll keep you up to date on how many registrations we have for your camp
what will we do? provide support
We will lead and support you throughout the whole process. From marketing and registration to the week of camp and beyond, we will be here to answer all your questions and set you up for a successful week of camp.
bring all supplies for camp Bringing this fun-filled week to your store gets easier and easier. We will bring our own pop up tables, stools, sewing machines, power strips, fabric and all other supplies. We’ll set everything up the night (or afternoon) before camp starts and tear down and clean everything up when we leave at the end of the week.
run camp
Our expert fashion sewing camp leaders will lead the whole week of camp, from inspiration boards and sketching to the final runway. They’ll also communicate all the details of camp with you and the campers.

commit to hosting camp by completing a quick registration
Here you’ll review the requirements laid out for the host and indicate the weeks you are available to host camp. You’ll also pay a $200 non-refundable deposit. This deposit covers administrative time and marketing materials in the event your camp has to be canceled. You’ll receive your deposit back the week of camp if registration quota has been met. After reviewing your camp registration, we will contact you to confirm the week of your camp!
camper registration opens February 1st!
As soon as we have your registration and deposit, we’ll prepare printed materials and have them sent to you to promote camp. You’ll also have access to graphics and media to promote camp on your social media sites. We’ll facilitate registrations through our website so you won’t have to handle any payment or registrations forms
