MANY THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOUR PASTOR. HIS NUMEROUS UNNOTICED SACRIFICES No one notices pastors tears............ No one notices pastors hunger......... No one notices pastors pains........... No one notices pastors unfairly judgement against him.......... No one notices pastors when they bleed while leading........ We cry inside and clean our face outside...... No one knows..... Many days we go to Church hungry and depressed, yet we put up a smile so we could be able to minister the word effectively and be a blessing to our members. No one knows it........ We experience marital challenges and yet behave well/normal..... No one notices it....... We are criticized wrongly...... No one cares to find out the truth..... We stand in the battle front and received dangerous arrows that was meant for our members and in the process we bleed. Yet no one knows......... We have not paid our house rent but we give out money to help members... Even when there's no food in our home, yet we give out food to members who don't have. No one knows.... Many nights we don't sleep because a member is sick or in trouble. No one knows. We go to mountains to pray and seek for God's power. We deny ourselves of food and pleasure, fasting and praying for increase in anointing, Yet when God answers our prayers and release the anointing to heal and do miracles, they will call us fake. IT HURTS.... No one knows..... We live a life of sacrifice..... We can't do what others do freely...... Yet no one knows.... Even when we are under satanic attack or terribly sick, we still carry people along and still pray for those that are sick...... No one knows... Respect your pastor........

From the desk of professor Leon . Tonight,, I wish to deal with the Topic of paramount importance,, so I've entitled it in the form of a Question.... What Heritage will you pass on to the next Generation...????... All this ...is part and parcel... of a Process.. which grows out of our genetic inheritance. Whether it be.. Good health or bad.. Physical beauty or not... Powerful stability or a chemical imbalance... these all flow out from the biological link each one of us has...to THOSE who have gone before..!! So...our genetic makeup,, which was handed down,, through a long line of ancestors,, dictates part of WHO we really are...!!!! : Connections ...is why we try to remain connected with the people in our lives..!! Connections,, are why a minister announces an engagement of a young couple,, on a certain Evening Service,, and why the congregation breaks into applause.. Connections are one way we keep this big world.. smaller,, simpler,, and more intimate. And when it comes to our families,, connections are even more vital. Our connections to our children.. have a direct impact upon future generations,,, for the good or for bad.. Tonight... I wish to discuss,, Choosing the good,, over..the bad..!!
: Yet,, dear Family. .our ancestral connection goes beyond physiological characteristics,, to link up with a Spiritual Dimension.. and THIS Spiritual Dynamic can have far - reaching implications for one generation after another.. God Himself highlighted this Principle when He gave Moses the Ten Commandments...see as Reference ..Deut 5:9,,10.. Yet,, dear Family. .our ancestral connection goes beyond physiological characteristics,, to link up with a Spiritual Dimension.. and THIS Spiritual Dynamic can have far - reaching implications for one generation after another.. God Himself highlighted this Principle when He gave Moses the Ten Commandments...see as Reference ..Deut 5:9,,10.. : He...(God)..made it very clear.. that He allows the consequences of ancestral sin to impact several.. consecutive generations. Yet...on the other side of the coin... He allows the descendants of those who love and OBEY Him,, to reap the positive results of Oupa and Grandma's good deeds and obedience to Almighty God!! : All around us ..we see a pattern.. Abused kids...end up beating their own kids.. Those... raised by drunkards,, often become adult alcoholics THEMSELVES.. Criminals.. tend to raise criminals..hey... Dysfunction... breeds dysfunction!!!! Moral weakness. .fosters moral weakness..!! : Of course... There's always.. the Positive side.. Responsible,,loving parents,, tend to instil the same in their kids..and they...in theirs.. and so on!! : Thus...the good as well as the bad.. is passed down.. From generation to generation.. and if we are smart.. We shall find a way... To make this Principle work FOR us..rather than against us!! I wish to draw your attention now... To Eccl 4:12...the second part of that particular verse In this verseâ˜?đ&#x;?ť Solomon points out...the strength of a threefold cord.. as a strong tie..that cannot be broken, nor easily separated.. : Let's quickly define... Heritage... A Heritage,, is the Spiritual,, Emotional,, and Social Legacy... that is passed from parent to child... Good or bad!!! Our Question... Demands an answer. . What Heritage will you pass on to the next generation??? : As mentioned.. Every Heritage... has these 3 distinct... Yet interrelated parts... Just like a cord with 3 strands..!! The Spiritual The Emotional... and The Social..!!
: Just as King Solomon mentioned... That the threefold cord is NOT easily separated or broken.. So the three Components of a heritage... Together ..are much stronger than any one... ( on it's own) or two.. Thus.. With a Heritage Cord.. the Rope..ties one to his or her past,, Gives security IN the Present... and Hope...FOR the Future!!! Here's something one may hold on to..when life is tossing us around like a little dinghy in the midst of a terrible storm... The parent... handing this golden cord to his children,, who will then begin their own lives.. APART from...the parents... YET... will remain linked by the strong cord of IDENTITY and DIRECTION.... It's ALL part of a package!!! In our next Study... we shall look at these three Components of the Heritage Cord.. in much greater detail... I hope you're blessed by this Topic.. Sooo..
