DOUBLE WEDDING RING Circa 1930 Made by: Susanna Plank Lais Size: 84” x 94” Details: Scraps, cotton batting, handpieced, pieced cotton back, hand-applied edging. Provenance/History: Owner’s grandmother was the maker. She was born and raised in Indiana. Moved to Oregon with a hired hand. The Quilt was made in Oregon and given to the owner’s father. The maker died in 1936.
STARS AND GEESE (IN A BLUE SKY) Made in 2009 Made by: Irene Bornman Owned by: Irene Bornman Size: 76” x 88” Details: Cotton fabric, Dacron-low loft poly fill, machine with hand-piecing, cotton backing, edging machine. Provenance/History: An outline of Africa appears in the quilt’s corner. Irene’s family lived in African for nine years. The quilt features materials of traditional African patterns.

Details: Cotton fabric with Dracon poly fill, machine quilting, hand-piecing, diagonal rodding in squares, floral pattern in sashing, blended backing, edging is machine applied in front and hand in back. Provenance/History: Priced from scraps found by the maker during a trip to Africa. The quilt has a map of Senegal in on a back corner and to idenify the maker during her missionery service.
DRESDEN PLATES Circa 1940 / 2005 Made by: Faughn McFadden Size: 78” x 96”

Details: Cotton fabric, Low Loft batting, maching piecing, hand quilting, hand applique, white cotton batting, edging machine front and hand backing. Provenance/History: The blocks were made by Faughn McGadden circa 1940 and the quilt was later set and quilted by the St Paul’s Luthern Church Quilt Group of Kouts, Indiana. The marker was Jo Ann’s grandmother.
