July 2013 – present Graphic designer Freelance Being a self-employed designer I focus mainly on creating logos and brand identities. During this time I found some new clients, initially through godesigner.ru and later through word of mouth. Also having a bit more free time, I took some courses on coursera.com and started to draw more, which really improved my skills.
March 2010 – July 2013 Graphic designer “Koleso” ltd., koleso.cc As a designer I worked with various clients, providing them with corporate identity design and all printed materials needed: flyers, booklets, letterhead, envelopes, business cards, packaging etc. I also did sketching, worked with Wacom tablet. I am very passionate about fonts and even got to work with some, creating Cyrillic versions. As part of the job I cooperated with print shops and am completely confident in preparing files for printing and choosing various kinds of paper and printing methods. Having worked there for two years I was promoted. As a senior designer part of my job became guidance and control of a junior designer.
Skills
Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Indesign; basics of Blender and Inkscape. Designing menus, booklets, corporate souvenirs, posters and business cards; logos, corporate identity design; icons, font creation. I’m responsible and love working in a team. My goal is to explore various fields of design and grow as a professional.
Orthopaedic shop logo and corporate identity
This is a logo for an orthopaedic surgeon who opened a shop in Moscow: Doctor Horoshev. I’ve been working with them for a long time and have created various printed materials.
Wedding invitations
WineJet Wine and Barista School
During my work at Koleso we’ve created a logo and a lot of flyers, presentations, posters and all kinds of produce for a wine school. When they started, they wanted to change the image of being a sommelier, making it more fun and young.
Sketches
Sometimes I draw and do sketches to improve my skills.
